Maybe I'm not looking in the right places, but I haven't heard if DCA will bring back the Winter Dreams version of World of Color. We got to catch it last November on it's first night (right after the AP event). It was good: my girls loved it, though my son loved the normal version. Just wondering if it may be coming back and what dates it would be implemented.

YAY, this is great news! I really liked this show and I am sure many people will love to see Frozen in WoC again :)

You're definitely not looking in the right places! ;):goodvibes The Disney Parks Blog confirmed that it was coming back (in their Holiday blog in September). Disneyland News (the primary source of press releases for DLR) confirmed it last week in a holiday release. I have both the blog and the release linked on page 1 of the Disneyland at Christmas/Holiday Season Superthread (in the General Information section).

Also in the Superthread, I have been periodically posting and re-posting a "What We Know.." (about the holiday season so far) summary of all of the official and unofficial-but-probable holiday happenings, including the confirmation of the return of Winter Dreams (in fact, I just re-posted that summary on the last page of the Superthread earlier this morning).

However, last year Winter Dreams began a few days after the official start of the holidays, as did Viva Navidad. We will assume that both of those events will begin on the actual start date of the holiday season this year (11/13/14, as Tom mentioned above), but there is a possibility that they could begin on 11/14/14. There is also a big question mark about when Olaf's ice rink and the Winter Village will go up, as the Avengers Half-Marathon events and crowds are expected to spend some time and take up some space in Downtown Disney. So the rink and the Village may, possibly, go up after 11/16, but we don't know.

I also have a post with Days/Dates/Events to Remember -- HERE -- which I update based on the info released by Disney. That will give you a good idea of what's happening and when (although the dates for Three Kings Day confuse me, as one Disney source said it was a 5-day celebration but the dates they posted only covered 3 dates -- so I think they made a mistake somewhere along the line).

Yes, Olaf's rink didn't open until the Saturday we left I believe. And the Winter Dreams started on that Friday. Either way, we're there the next week so hopefully it's in full swing....though my son will be unhappy about his favorite WOC version not being there.

That rink was supposed to and was scheduled to open on 11/15 last year -- on the same day that Winter Dreams and Viva Navidad began -- but, for whatever wacky reason, the people building it ran into a setback. They were furiously working on the rink underneath a tarp on 11/15 last year (all the construction sounded like a giant bowl of popcorn popping!:rotfl2:), but they couldn't get it done. I would imagine they are better prepared this year, although the Avengers Half-Marathon is going to most likely prevent the rink and the Village from going up on 11/13 or even 11/14.

Any chance it will start early? We are there 11/10 and 11/11...the Christmas parade and HOliday fireworks are showing they will happen then...any chance they will roll out WOC early? WOC is scheduled both nights anyway.
