Winston-Salem, NC anyone???

I will be there for five days in March. DD has to go a series of classes in banking since she got a promotion. She doesn't want to go by herself and since I only work a couple of hours a day and don't have to be replaced at work I am going. Now the fun part she will be in class from about 9 to 5 each day. So dear mom, me, will be by herself. Just wondered what to do each day. Thought if someone lived there you could give me more information that internet looking could. Maybe we could meet for lunch!! I am taking a good book (well six good books or so), counted cross stitch, puzzle books, and latch hook things. I also am thinking about looking into a lap top before we go. I don't live in W-S, but live about an hour from there. You might want to tour Old Salem, which is a restored Moravian settlement, very close to downtown. The state zoo is in Asheboro, and is nice. There is always shopping. Not sure what else to recommend. Have fun
