What are some of your winning Priceline bids for Port Canveral?
I am trying to make up my mind if I want to try to bid.

I have been bidding for about a week now trying to get Country Inn and Suites for around $64-69, but have been losing.

What do you do if you have a child? My daughter kicks and I'm not having the 3 of us share a bed. Will we be able to purchase a roll-in bed?

We got city&s thru priceline december 2010. I think it was about $80. I called the hotel and they told me that they always put priceline customers in the kids suites which we loved! We're a family of3 but I know the room slept at least and maybe 5.

I tried off and on for about 3 weeks in December of 2011 for one night for 3 rooms for January 4th. I gave up after I got to $95 a night. I ended up paying $119 a room when calling down there. We loved the hotel! :goodvibes

I bid $56 per nite on 2/02/12 for my stay 2/21/12 thru 2/23/12 and the bid was accepted. There are two adults and a 7 year old sharing the room. I figured if we got stuck with a king bed we would just make due. The total came to $133.38 including taxes and fees. I canceled my ressie for CIS kids suite of $109 per night after my bid was accepted. Remember to select 2 1/2 stars or higher in Cape Canaveral.

Priceline specifies that you can get a king or two full sized/queen beds. You CAN call the hotel after your bid is accepted and express a preference, but they don't have to honor it.

Hotwire allows you to specify 2,3,or 4 people in a room and will have beds as needed for the number you indicate.

IF you restrict your bidding to CAPE Canaveral (not Port), the only 2.5* hotel is the Radisson, the 3* are CI&S and Residence Inn on Priceline. Whether they have any rooms available thru these outlets and the price seems to vary quite a bit.

I'm actually seeing CI&S as the only 2.5*, and Radisson & Residence as the 3* options. :confused3

That is seriously odd...the Radisson used to be 2.5*, as was the CI&S. Then CI&S went up to 3.0*. Whatever....they are all decent hotels. The free breakfasts at CI&S and Renaissance are nice, the Radisson is older and not as nice as the other two, but has a great pool. Radisson is totally acceptable; just not as nice as the others or as it used to be...and with the loss of the free parking, it is seriously less popular

Can I use the port shuttle if I use priceline or hotwire? Can I leave my car there while I am on the cruise?

Many of the hotels no longer offer free parking unless you book a special package. However, some will let you add parking and shuttle to a Priceline stay for a small fee.

Any idea on the parking fee if you use Priceline or Hotwire?

CI&S is now $30. I'm not sure what the other two are. I do believe that adding Residence Inn's package on at whatever their fee is, it gives shuttle passes for only two people. Each additional person after that is $5 on top of the initial fee.

How much are disney transfers each way if you stay on site the night before? Do you have to stay on site before and after in order to use disney transfers?
