How do you know if you win one of these trips? Do they call? Email? Or do you receive something in the mail?

For the wreck-it-Ralph sweepstakes, I was notified via email. I didn't win the grand prize (just a wreck-it-Ralph plush...), so it may be different for larger prizes, but email may be a possibility.

I won the One More Disney Day sweepstakes last year and I wasn't called or e-mailed first. Fed Ex just delivered a letter one day saying that I was a potential winner. Some of the other winners were called and some others were e-mailed so there's no one way they will contact people. Just make sure you check your junk mail folder in your e-mail, answer your phone, and check your front door for Fed Ex letters because you have to respond within 48 hours.

I won one once, through an online form, via a radio station. I received a phone call, followed by dozens of emails, certified letter, and packets of info and releases.

The rules actually state that it's one winner and up to three guests, so they don't have to be "family"... and before you just go as a twosome, I'm sure you could find two new friends here on the DIS who would be happy to join you.

who knows how they will do it, as I recall last year they didn't really stick to what the rules said so I would say all bets are off as to how they are going to contact winners.
