The food looks WONDERFUL!!! We are HUGE fans of the Biergarten, Im drooling over the one picture (I always forget to take pics here...too excited about eating!!)

Unfortunatley, I havent eaten all day and sitting here in pain with strep throat, while reading through this report is pure torture!!

Our next meal was in MGM at Pizza Planet. This one got an A+ from everyone! But I forgot to take pictures, so use your imagination and picture mini pizzas, salad, chips, pop, brownies & mickey ricecrispie treats! One of the reasons I had picked this one was the kids got the same choices as the adults since there isn't a child's menu. Also the whole toy story themeing is great for my boys too! I think between the 6 of us we tried all of the diffrent meal combo's. There was way too much food so next time I think I'd only get 3 meals for us to share.

Just found your food report and am loving it!

Our kids are dd13, ds11, ds8, ds6, dd4, dd3, and dd1. We were pregnant at similar times! LOL

Glad to see pics of Biergarten, we're trying it for the first time this year. Lots of meaty goodness on that plate!

Welcome to all my new readers! Does that sound a little grandious of me? Is grandious a word? It makes sense in my mind but when I type it, it doesn't make sense to my brain..............sorry I'm rambling. Wow, I can't believe it's been almost a month since I posted! I do have a mile long list of excuses, which one would you like????? Mostly I spent 2 weeks playing with my birthday gift...................................................

My sister was so thoughtfull it took her 9 long months to make her for me.

Who cares what the kids think of the food, WDW is not intended for kids! I love this thread, your sense of humor is great! I love the line about torturing the Biergarten staff with your rusty German. Keep 'em coming!

Ok, onto the food!!!

I had been intrigued with the whole concept of 50's prime time and I thought it would be fun with the kids. And even better because I told them nothing about it! We checked in took a seat on the couch got settled in and then were called to our table. I love the way this is decorated and set up! Most of the nick naks reminded me of my great grandma's kitchen. As we were walking by one poor little boy was being reprimanded for not behaving and was standing in the corner. I was hopeing that we would get a good server who was into the whole thing..................................and we did! We were sitting at a corner booth and Bailie (who can be painfully shy) was near the end. Our "cousin" came over and looking at Bailie said "scoot over!" The look on her face was priceless. Poor Bailie, this was just the begining of her fun! So our cousin introduced himself gave the kids names, Ethan & Hunter were Skippy and Scooter. Handed out our menus and said he'd be back. When he returned he again told Bailie to scoot over, and made himself comfortable. We managed to get our drink orders but were reprimanded for takeing so long in deciding what appetizer we wanted.

I got the pot roast, which was just ok. I guess I'm used to just a chunck of meat with some potatos on the side!

I have to say my pictures are pretty lacking here because I kept getting in trouble for takeing pictures when I should be eating and had it taken away! I enjoyed getting myself in trouble here. And so did the kids. At one point our cousin walked away and Bailie and Evan blew their straw wrappers at him, this is them accuseing eachother..................

Skippy and Scooter only remember their shakes and desserts which they proclaimed as really awesome. They loved all the interaction with the server. D.Jay & Evan got the steak, I was caught in the act of trying to get a picture so I don't have one, and Bailie got some chicken thing that she didn't like. So here's cousin trying to play airplane with her..................

In between our main courses and waiting for dessert Bailie had to use the restroom. While she was gone our Cousin came by and sat in her spot when she got back they had a little conversation.............

Cousin....where were you?
Bailie.....the bathroom.............
Cousin....did you ask to be excused???
Bailie........no.............
Cousin....did you wash your hands?
Bailie...Yes!!
Cousin....what color was the soap?
Bailie........?????????????????
Cousin....Well you better go back and do it right this time!

So off Bailie went to find out the color of the soap. We still tease her about this. And now I think she can tell you the color of the soap in every bathroom she's been in!

Evan & I had the smores...................YUMMMY!

Bailie had the brownie sundae....................

Skippy & Scooter had the standard kids meal sundae and D.Jay was too full for dessert?????? What the heck????

As we were enjoying our desserts with our cousin sitting with us to make sure no elbows were on the table or other horseing around a couple who looked to be in their 50's were sat at the booth next to ours. The man was wearing a ball cap. From his sitting position at our booth cousin yelled over "hey, take your hat off!" The look on this poor man's face was hillarious! I nearly chocked on my smore!!!!

Over all I wouldn't go here again for the food, but I would for the fun! I think it totally depends on if you're server is into the role. The food I'd give a B- but the servers was an A+! Alot of the fun also came from watching the families around us. We had an elderly couple on one side of us who looked totally flabbergasted. My kids thought it was great fun and still laugh about all the things that happened while we were there. Here's us with our cousin..

That's why I love PT 50s Cafe!!! Do you remember your cousin's name? I would love to ask for him since he gave such great service and was really outgoing.
