I loved reading the food reports and drooling over pictures before my trip, so here's my help for those of you who are also addicted to disney dining like me! I didn't find many reviews with more than 2 children and usually not the ages of my kids, so I'm going to add what they thought about the meals also. We were on the ddp and I was a little worried because of what I had heard about the changes to the kids menu's but it turned out just fine. There's 6 of us........

Me, Winkers I  food! My favorites are steak, pasta, cheesecake, and anything with chocolate. Not really into gourmet , but I'll try just about anything once.

D.Jay.... Classic meat & potatoes guy. His main food groups are pop corn and chips. He would seriously live off that if I didn't cook for him. He's pretty easy to please, just don't give him fish, liver or anything to fancy.

Evan (13) He has a never ending appetite and a hole in his big toe!He is easy to please and will eat just about anything. Not to keen on fruit but he'll try anything once. Super easy to fix dinner for!

Bailie (11 going on 30) She eats about the same things as I do. She loves fruit and veggies and trys just about anything.

Hunter (9 ) one word......picky! He loves mac & cheese, cereal, & pancakes. If it's something he likes he eats like it's his last meal. If he doesn't like it , he just won't eat.:snooty:

Ethan (6) He's not sure which of his big brothers he want's to copy so he takes turns. Dinner with him is like a suprise each day. One day he'll eat anything the next he complains about everything. It's like a split food personality.

Ok, on with the food porn, err I mean food!
Our first night we just ate at the ASMU food court, I don't remember what it's called. It was a little over whelming with the diffrent stations and 4 hungry and very tired kids. The service was so slow, but that could have been just because I was so tired.

Hunter & Ethan got the chicken nugget kids meals with fries, grapes & pop. They had the choice between jello, pudding and a chocoalte chip cookie for dessert. Hunter chose the cookie, and Ethan the pudding
Hunter " I ate the fires and cookie & grapes. It was all good except the chicken"
Ethan " It was good"

D.Jay had the chicken ceasar salad, chocolate marble cheesecake & a coke. He ate about half of it. I tasted it and thought it was pretty good.

Evan had the Chili cheese hotdog, fries and chocolate cake.
"Really Good!" He was actually full and didn't eat anyone's left overs!

Bailie & I had the Chicken with Penne pasta, chocolate swirl cheesecake & pop.
I thought the sauce was pretty good, not the best but ok. I really like the chicken. It has a different style of breading on it. We were both to full to eat our salads or dessert so we brought them to our room.
Bailie's comments "It was good but not enough sauce. I really liked the chicken and bread stick."

that looks pretty good to me......I love chicken ceasar salads .....any place anytime......thanks for showing us those picks

Since I'm doing so badly at keeping up with your trip report, I thought maybe I could just follow along here until I get back from my trip and my brain can focus on writing again. Pictures I can handle, everything else is too much... is there such a thing as Disney induced brain fuzz?

Can't wait to see more!

That chili cheese dog looks so good! Yum, yum!

I like you are doing a separate food report. Do people look at you weird when you are taking pics of the food? I think DH will flip his lid if I start photographing the food. :lmao:

Oh and do you keep the plastic Mickey head bowls? We do and bring them home! :lmao: We have about 20 and they are great for when the kids have their friends over. We put popcorn in the center and then fill the ears with apples and candy. Again, DH thinks I am nuts when I am washing them out to pack them home but heck, I paid for them and they are a cool souvenir!

I looked at the picture first and thought to myself, "That's not nearly enough Alfredo sauce - look at all that dry pasta!", then I went on to read that Bailey and I apparently think alike! :rotfl2:

That pasta looks pretty plain but the rest looks good :thumbsup2 Great start - I can tell this is gonna be goooood. Off to read your trip report now until you post some more food porn :rotfl:

Oh, very nice review! I especially enjoy your children's comments being included!
