**Winkers goes to England~It's so hard to say goodbye**

We are back. I put a new link in my signature about our experience.

I love your update. It is my favorite so far. I love the characters with flat Jordan. I really like your pink shirt. You look so pretty in pink.

I'm so glad you are ok! I'm going to go check out your report!

I love Crystal Pallace, although Pooh is one of my favorite characters so I guess that's why and I'm a grown up and love to give them hugs too. I'm a little scared myself about Fanastyland

Normaly, the first day I feel kinda funny posing with the characters, but by the end of the trip, I don't care what anone thinks!

You got it !! Hey I started my PTR I am on Day 1 :rotfl2: Come join me !!

On my way over...........

After the excitement of a butt free mainstreet and being fortified with Pooh for Breakfast, we were ready to take on something new. It was an adventure of epic proportions..................we were on our way to Fanasyland to ride Snow White's Scary Adventure...........Just the name makes me quiver with fear. You think I jest?? I think not!

Let me take you back, cause I'm going to strawberry fields...........oh wait, I was listening to the Beatles earlier...........Let me take you back to my early childhood.........This could be scary so you might want to brace yourself..................I had an honest to goodness, real life, evil step-mom! Seriously! Eeeevvviiilllll!

Lesson *1 in the book of Winkers life...............
My mom died when I was a little over one, leaving myself and 4 yr old sister. Our dad remarried within a year to psycho lady from hades. She was very unstable and jealous of our mom. To the point of burning all the pictures of her and selling all of her things. Thank heavens my Dad wised up and divorced her after a year. In the mean time, she and my dad would have screaming matches at night. I don't know how, but I still remember my dad tucking me in and turning on a disney book on tape. Remember those? So I would fall asleep with the sounds of Cinderella & Snow white and their wicked stepmom's with my own yelling in the background.............Fast forward 30 years and you have a grown woman who still cringes when she sees Snow White....................................

Ok, back to the story. I realy did want to go on this ride, so with the comfort of my family we headed to Snow White, and were the first and only ones in line! We rode it twice! Since there wasn't anyone else I took some pictures...................

As in all Disney Tales, my story has a happy ending! My dad married my "Mom", she's never been a stepmom or evil, when I was 8. She was the best thing that could have happened for me! She has always treated my sister and I like her own, and I thank the lord for her everyday. :lovestruc

Up next.....wild things in the kingdom.............

I'm glad you had a sweet mom to raise you. It's funny how our earliest experiences can shape who we are - I'm glad you and Snow White made friends.

So you're a real life fairy tale :goodvibes

You have me boo hooing. That is my worst nightmare. I would jump out of the grave and snatch someone baldheaded if they were mean to my babies. I am so glad your story has a happy ending.

My grandmother died when my mom was nine. My mom was the oldest and she had three little sisters. The youngest was two. They went to live with their grandparents who were mean to them. My mom ran away at 13 and my grandfather let her live with him and she raised her younger sisters. When she was little her mother's sister would come get her and her sisters and take them to church and on picnics. She would sew them dresses and take them swimming. She did things her sister would have done if she had lived to raise her children. This wonderful woman is my great aunt Ora. I love her so much. I named Grace after her. Grace is actually named Ora Grace.

I laughed out loud at the Strawberry Fields. :rotfl2: And I cried at the story about your mom and evil stepmom. How completely HORRIBLE of her to burn your mothers pictures. Some people amaze me. I can hardly wrap my mind around why someone would do such a thing. I'm so glad that your story has a happy ending. ....well, not that your done yet but you know what I mean. :rotfl: I'm glad you got such a wonderful "mom" and now you have a wonderful family of your own. :flower3:

Thanks for another great update. I"m sorry for your ealier years but it seems that life got better for you and I'm very glad for that.

Because of your pictures, I think I'm going to try Snow White this time around. I always thought it was a child's ride so I don't think I've ever been on it. I guess I'll do Pooh too. It will be me, the 38 year old child, on these rides by herself. Whenever a "kid" movie would come out, I would take my lil' cousin, Shayna (now 11 1/2), with me so it didn't look like it was me who wanted to go. Does someone want to lend me their children so I don't look too odd? Maybe I could bring a Flat Shayna with me.

:goodvibes Awww, thanks for the insight into our sweet winkers  Great pics too!!! :thumbsup2
It's amazing I've managed this far without professional help!;)
Can your prescribe meds??? If so........is there help for me?:rotfl:

That is such a sad and sweet story.
Luckily it's more sweet than sad!

I'm glad you had a sweet mom to raise you. It's funny how our earliest experiences can shape who we are - I'm glad you and Snow White made friends.
She was here this weekend visiting!

: So you're a real life fairy tale :goodvibes
Yes....yes I am! I've been trying to convice d.jay I'm a disney princess for years!;)
Is it normal that my dogs sing and do my laundry?:confused3

.
I've always been scared of dying and leaving my kids young. I've threatend D.jay that if I do, he better be careful or I'll haunt him.;)
That was a sweet story about your great aunt taking care of your mom!

. How completely HORRIBLE of her to burn your mothers pictures. Some people amaze me. I can hardly wrap my mind around why someone would do such a thing. :
Luckily, some of my aunts stepped in and rescued some things. But, there are no pictures of my mom and I together. I've always been sad about that. So of course, I've made sure that there are tons of pictures of my kids with me and D.Jay.

Maybe I could bring a Flat Shayna with me.
I think you'd get more strange loks for going on a ride with a flat person on a stick than going by yourself!:rotfl2:

Those are awesome Snow White pictures!

Thanks!

No meds needed from what I know. A little talk therapy though..................:rolleyes1

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: But really. I am a huge believer in therapy and have partook in some myself. Gotta practice what I preach. :thumbsup2

I have never understood mean people! :headache:

I am so glad that your dad wised up to that woman (unlike all the dads in fairy tales).

And I am so happy that your story has a happy ending! :grouphug:
