Wine?

Dh has asked me to find out where to buy a couple of decent bottles of wine whilst we are in Orlando, we are staying in a villa so it would be nice to have a nice glass or two would Publix be the best place or would we need to go to a liqour store?

Both is the answer I'd say. Publix have a wine section (as do most supermarkets) but liquor stores also have wine. Both have some nice wines in them. I would say there is little to choose between the selection though, unless you find a "fine" wine selection somewhere - depends what you are after.

The Grape at Pointe Orlando is a wine shop/bar, but these days the supermarkets actually have some pretty decent wines.

You can get wine from Publix, Walmart or any liquor store!!

Hi we are staying at Windsor Hlls, dh is currently buying Sauvingnon Blanc, Cloudy Bay when we are treating ourselves and Oyster Bay a bit more often! We are up for trying californian brands if anyone has any suggestions.

There is a publix not too far from WH - we normally go to the one opposite the Celebration turn on the 192.

Ooohhh.....I love cloudy bay!! Do you but it locally or on the internet? It can be quite expensive!

Both, Dh keeps finding an excuse to go into Laithwaites and it does seem to be cheaper in there than on the internet. We got the taste last for it last year when our local independant supermarket was selling it for £16 per bottle, shame they don't have that offer anymore!

I first tasted it on holiday in Mauritius....the restaurant was selling it at a ridiculously high price but I loved it!

I haven't found it anywhere locally so I normally order it online.
