Yes, a number of the countries have wine stores and you can do tastings there. You used to be able to get a flight at each one but now you can't do that unless you do the wine walk. The problem with the wine walk is you can't choose which wines you want to taste, you have to taste the ones they give you. Here are the countries I know have wine tastings. Japan - you can taste saki in the store in the back not wine. There is a small Kiosk outside you can get a glass of wine at but it's a little larger than a tasting pour. France - There is a wine store and you can get as many pours as you want to pay for, smaller than a glass just a tasting pour. Italy - again a wine shop, again as many as you want to pay for. There is also a very nice wine bar in Italy, inside and you can get some food as well. You can get flights inside there. German - again a nice wine store and you can get a tiny cheese plate there as well. Again, as many pours as you are willing to pay for. The bar inside of Spice Road Tables is a walk up and you can get pours there. I'm not sure about the bar inside of Great Britian, we always get beer there. If you like tequila, La Cava in Mexico is a great place but hard to get into.
