I know someone mentioned this a couple of months ago, but I can't find in in the pages and pages of Food and Wine info!!!

Apparently you can stop at some of the worlds and purchase a "Sampler" of maybe 3 to 5 wines for a good price and then go and visit the different countries to try their wines.

Can someone give me a heads up on how that worked and the countries included?

Thanks!

I've purchased the wine passport in the past. It wasn't great. I didn't like most of the wines, and I like wine. I would rather spend a little more on a couple glasses I may like. I have also tasted a couple in the France wineshop before purchasing a bottle.

There are wine tastings offered at German, Italy and France. All of them are in the wine shop, you can pick from a couple of different tastings like all white, all red, etc. Italy also has a wine bar where you can do a tasting of (I think) 4 wines or just taste one. There are also seminars during F&W put on in the Festival Center, they are $15 each, twice a day. They are normally given by either a winery or a wine distributor. I think there were 3 wines tasted in those (I can't remember, I tasted a lot of wine) and the wines tasted are offered for sale in the Festival Center. There is also a wine walk that can be bought, you get (I think) 2 tastings in France, Germany and Italy but you don't get to choose which wines you taste. Did that help?

I think it it to purchase a couple of glasses vs a tasting. Not sure if it is the wine passport? It's not part of Food and Wine, F&W is just making it difficult to find the post! I'll look up wine passport. Thanks!

Yes, it's the Epcot wine walk passport! Thanks for the info!

It's called the Wine Walk and you can start it at any of the three bars that participate. You can also spread your samples out over multiple days if 6 glasses of wine doesn't sound doable in one night. It was only $20 when I went last September. I don't remember which country it was but they definitely poured way more than a 2 oz glass, which is what the samples are supposed to be. All in all, I think only two of the six glasses were 2 oz. It was well worth it but I do wish you could choose which two wines you wanted in each country. Some just weren't that great.
