Wine question.

I didn't know where to post this, so I just gave this forum a shot. I'm going to use a town car service in Oct., and will make the comp. food stop. Question is, do supermarkets in Florida sell wine?

When I was there last January, I stopped in a shopping center on 192, near the closed theme park "Splendid China". They had a grocery store and a package store in the same plaza. We were able to pick up all the wine and goodies we needed.

We told our tiffany driver we wanted a grocery stop at publix...there was a liquor store in the same center. We stopped there for a big bottle of the captain. I do not know hwich publix it was, but it was right on the way to the world.

Groceries stores can carry wine and beer but I don't think hard liquor. Sometimes there is a a liquor store adjacent or very close by. The wine selection varies.

We arrived at Vero Beach on a Sunday two summers ago and made a run to Publix for groceries. I felt kind of stupid asking a clerk if I could buy wine. She just looked at me weird and said "Sure you can buy wine every day". I'm from Indiana and buying alcohol on Sunday really felt like I was being "naughty"!!

Does anyone know if the the resort stores sell bottles of wine? How about in Downtown Disney?
