Wine packages on Magic

We skipped the packages and ordered ala carte. We got exactly the wines we wanted, and ended up only spending $125 over the 7 days.
We also spent $12 a person for the wine tasting. Got to try both the Fairy Tale Cuvee and the Fess Parker (or Packer as the wine list had it!!!) Chardonnay. Both very nice.

we enjoyed the wine package, they ran out of a chianti and substituited a very nice mondavi Cabernet that was awsome. Very Pleased!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Can you have two open bottles at a time for a table. I will be travelling with my parents and my wife's parents. I could see some wanting red and some wanting white. could we order two bottles from the same package at the same time.

The Fairy Tale Curvee is a private label just for Disney Cruise Line from Iron Horse. DH & I love Moet and will settle for Korbel. The Fairy Tale Curvee is somewhere in the middle. We are sooooo :smooth:  looking forward to it on the Wonder for Valentine's Day.

I've tried to get the curvee at the local liquor store and couldn't.

We purchased the standard package. There was a price break down per bottle that was given, say if one night you wanted something more pricey, you could apply that price...we applied the charge towards a special bottle of champagne one night. You could even have two bottles uncorked at the same meal and they would save them for you for the next evening.

I wouldn't worry about pre ordering the wine package before you get there...you can do it any night at your table or even at a station located on the deck on the first day.

The wine package is fine if you plan to drink all the bottles at dinner. I almost always have some wine with dinner, but got seasick on our cruise and didn't drink nearly as much as I expected. And, if all you want is to enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony, bring your own from home, as it is a lot cheaper. Almost all the wines on the list are of good quality, so I would not worry about picking a dud. By the way, the "Fairytale cuvee" is tasty, but it doesn't taste any different than the regular cuvees, at least to my palate.

If you order one of the wine packages, other than just drinking the wines at dinner, can you have a bottle from your package delivered to your stateroom?

I don't think they'll deliver it to the stateroom, but you can take bottles back from dinner.
