Wine Package Try Out

I am thinking about getting a wine package for our next cruise. I have the wine list and I’m going to try to purchase several of them to try them out before we go. My question: if I wanted to try a certain wine before committing to a whole bottle, do they let you sample it? Or do you have to purchase a glass of it? TIA

We always get the wine package. I’ve never asked for a taste before but if it is sold by the glass you should be able to get a taste.

There is a sommelier assigned to the main dining rooms, so you might ask you serving team to bring him/her to your table to assist. I have found them to be very helpful and have not seen any special effort to upsell to the more expensive wines on the “premium” package if I ask about selections on the “regular” wine package. Definitely a way to enhance your dining experience.

i like the idea of trying them before getting on the cruise. your posting made me think that it would be great if people could buy a sampler package of wine packages BEFORE they cruised through a disney associated vendor that sends it to their house.

Well, most of the wines in the package are relatively inexpensive, so if you got a screenshot of the wines you could check online to see if your big box wine shop has any of them.

With that said I bought the wine package blind and didn’t have a bad one.
