Did a search and couldn't find anything, hoping you nice folks could help out. I am looking for a wine list, or an idea of it, for the California Grill. I know it probably changes, but just curious if there was anything out there. Also any ideas what to do for my girlfriend on her birthday, that we are spending in the world. The plan so far is, early morning (or fairly early) massage and facial at the Grand Floridian, and then tea at 2 there (GF)....Then nothing.....Then dinner at the california grill....need help with the nothing, any suggestions???

The wine list is enormous, compared to other Disney wine lists (excluding the signatures, of course). It's Californian wines, of course. Are you looking for any wine in particular? I'd call the California Grill itself and ask if they can mail you a copy, if it's very important.

Also, if you're looking for romantic for her birthday, then California Grill is not it. It's very loud and crowded at dinner time. I'd suggest one of the other signatures - Citricos, Narcoossee's, or Victoria and Albert's, especially, since you'll be at the GF. There's also Flying Fish, Jiko, Shula's, or Artist Point.

What a nice boyfriend you are!

I'm afraid I can't help you with the wine list question, but I did want to provide one bit of information. Tea is much more filling than people realize. You will leave full, stuffed even. You may want to be sure that your dinner reservation is very late--or plan for a light dinner. Tea is awesome, one of our favorite WDW meals/experiences!

Hope your girlfriend has an awesome b'day!

I am really just more curiuos about the wine list, I think I will give them a call. I also understand that the California Grill is going to be loud and crazy, my gf, doesn't seem to understand or care. She has her heart set on there, I have tried to change it you Jiko, but yeah no good, and Victoria's and Albert's really doesn't appeal to her....Oh well thanks for the help though....

I have to disagree. We have always gotten our ADRs right when they open and left around 6:30-7. We have never found it to be loud. But to each his own.

My husband took me there on our honeymoon as our "special" dinner. It was awesome and has become a tradition for us. I say take her and enjoy!

Well, there's the difference :) We went once at the same time you mention, and you could just about hear a pin drop because there wasn't anyone there. At fireworks time, it nearly seems like a madhouse.
