Thanks for sharing. Interestingly, I see that the site you posted has articles about the effects at AK, HS, and Epcot but not MK. I hope that one comes out soon since it looks like the others were just posted a few hours ago. If not, at least the road closures section seems to apply to all 4 parks.

I think the W&D course does not touch MK.

I think the W&D course does not touch MK.

Starts in the parking lot near TTC but doesn't go through MK only the other 3. Everyone should be across the starting line by 6:30am.

Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I’ve added the links to the other park impacts to my post above.

I guess since it starts at MK parking lot it’ll mostly be clear around that part of WDW by the time the roosters start crowing and most people get going for the morning.

Any idea if there would be a doable route from Coronado to DHS at 8:00 that morning? I want to drive instead of bus that morning ignoring possible. The map is hard to see if there’s an alternative way as I can’t zoom in too much.

I’m planning to rope drop MK this Saturday and Sunday. I’m an early arriver, so I like to Uber to the Contemporary and get to the park by 8/8:15.

Anyone know how Saturday’s Wine and Dine 10k and Sunday’s half marathon might impact my plans? I’ve been to Disney during the Princess Half Marathon in February, during which they close the road between Contemporary and MK, so that you can’t walk from Contemporary to MK. Anyone know if that will happen this weekend, and if so, if the walkway will be opened up by 7:45am-ish?

Hi there, I merged your post into this thread from over the weekend. The links in the first post have a course and road closure map. Generally speaking, it starts at the MK parking lot and heads away from MK, so it doesn’t look like it will have the same impact as the Princess Half on getting to the MK (I was there that morning this year, holy delays!).
