Wine Delivery??

Staying at SSR next month and probably ordering groceries from Garden Grocer.

How about wine though? I will have a car but was not looking to take time to drive off site and buy wine.

Where can I order it from?

We were at SSR in August and had Gardern Grocier deliver our food including beer and wine. (Yellow Tail & Michelob Ultra). You cannot order online. After you do your order, call them up and have them add the wine. Prices were fairly reasonable. We were happy with the service and plan to use them again.

I don't think anyone delivers wine or if they do, there's not going to be much of a selection. If you have a car, there's and ABC store on 535 that's not too far away.

But, let me ask you a question. I'm a wine lover and we've been thinking of adding wine storage to the services we offer at Owner's Locker. We would store wine belonging to our Members and deliver requested bottles along with Lockers. Do you think this has any legs (pardon the pun)?

I would be interested and I am sure there are other Locker Owners that would be too.

They sell bottles of wine in Epcot correct? All those wine tasting must be affecting my memory!

I have always ordered beer, wine and vodka through Garden Grocer with no problems. I just type what I need in the comments section and follow up with an email.

Are there many wine stores that sell decent wine that is not too far for Disney? Do you know of any that would work with customers to get certain wines or allow customers to call and check availability prior to arrival.

We are spoiled by our local wine store that is in walking distance (dangerous, I know), they even offer the dog a treat every time we go in (I had to tell them that the 5 month old did not need a taste of the red last week).

All the grocery stores sell wine and there is an ABC Liquor Store on hotel blvd., not far from SSR. I would say a 5 minute drive (if that) from SSR to the ABC liquor store.
