We eat there on Monday as part of the WOC plan. We were looking forward to it until we read another thread and the OP was very disappointed there. We'll see as we know everyone has different experiences. In all the years we have gone to DL and California Adventure we have never eaten there. I am sure it will be fine.My family is wild for the lasagna rustica.
I haven't been there since they reopened but I see the lasagna is still on the menu and I'm hoping it's the same.
The tiramisu was delicious and the starter salad was nice. The kids loved their pasta but can you really mess up pasta? Overall our group of 11 enjoyed their meal. We had a table right in front of the parade route and saw the whole thing. It was awesome!
...ohh oohh sorry i was day dreaming! lol
ohh i heard the new menu was really good, but i was more hoping that we could focus on what was our favorite dish pre-closing/remodeling days.
i'm wishing i think you will be fine! the tratt is not a bad place at all!
We ate there for the WoC and the halibut was good. My lamb was SO fatty. The tiramisu was delicious and the starter salad was nice. The kids loved their pasta but can you really mess up pasta? You want pre-closing/remodeling. I have photos from last year's Mother's Day. One of the few times I remembered to take photos of the food BEFORE we started eating.

Love that outdoor dining area. I don't know that we ever sat inside. It is about the only place that if my DH says "Let's sit outside" I don't even think to say no.
We have reservations at 5pm and hope to get a table to see the parade..do you have any tips... did you show up early to request a table or wait for a table.. what did you do to get the parade view? At this point, I'm thinking maybe we should just cancel and do the picnic basket and then I remind myself of the parade. So the parade is the only thing holding me and I'll be so disappointed to not have a view.![]()
As far as tips, I don't have any. They just asked upstairs or downstairs and we said downstairs. We were a party of 11. The kids sat on the wall and watched the whole thing. Our ressies were for 5:30 which was perfect. Maybe show up a little early and ask for a seat near the parade wll when you get there. Good luck!
