So, I have decided to do the dinner meal so that my group of 7 will be able to view WOC from the preferred viewing area. What is your experience with this? How early do people start showing up in this area? How early will the CM's let you in? I wish there were seats in this area!!!!

My friend and I ate there last Monday. Our dinner reservation was at 6:15pm. Once we finished dinner (we did not rush) we walked over to the preferred area. We ended up on the stairs right behind the "wet" area. There were only 4 other people on the stairs, so it was not crowded and we had a great view. I think we only waited about 15 minutes before the WoC began.

It worked out really well for us but it might be much more crowded on a weekend night, of course. We had a small issue with dinner, as there was confusion as to which waiter had our table, so we didn't get water/bread for almost half an hour. After speaking to the manager, she waited on our table the rest of our meal and it all worked out fine (I am not so quick to make a fuss, but my friend used to wait tables and she does not put up with that kind of stuff lol).

Is there a menu somewhere for the WOC dining here. It's differant than the regular menu right?

Try allears.net, they usually have all of the menus.

We're trying the lunch to get our passes for the early show. Looking forward to the responses and details.

Sorry! Was trying to share the links for the menus. I apparently don't know how to do that!;)

We go to the resort often, don't always see WoC, but when we decide to, we ALWAYS do Trattoria for lunch. It's my favorite WoC dining.

We have done both WCT and AG. I really didn't like WCT and it seemed to take forever as well. I felt like I had to rush to get a good spot for WOC.

We did Carthay Circle lunch for WOC fastpass. Horrible lunch experience, but loved our viewing area, we arrived 15 minutes before the show only one showing on the day we were there but that's what we wanted! Will do WCT next time because we disn't like Carthay Circle's service or food, my husband sent back his fish and my so called angus burger was so so, and for those prices you expect a lot more!

If you like seafood the Trattoria will treat you well, especially for the kid's portion. The seating area is also nice if the day is pleasant. That being said the Carthay is offering the WOC with no upcharge as long as you get an appetizer or dessert.
