wine & beer in grocery at Vero?

I thought I remembered seeing wine and beer in the grocery store on our last visit. Can anyone confirm that most groceries in FL sell both wine and beer? I would be nice to buy these items on our grocery run and not have to make a liqour store run too. Thanks!

I believe they do sell both at the grocery stores. I know they sell some wines and beer at the little bodega (Boppy's I think) just North of the resort. It's an easy walk from the main building. A local just opened Pasta La Vista in the same block. We had a pizza and sandwich and they were both pretty good.

We were able to buy beer and wine at the same grocery story we went to to pickup food for the week. Publix I think (??)

Yep, Publix. We bought beer and wine coolers there two weeks ago when we stayed at VB.

There is also a little market that sells it as well. And a decent pizza place right next to the resort at the entrance of Wabasso Beach.

Actually, the VB store does one better than just wine and beer, they have a pretty good selection of liqour. You can Get a bottle of Jim Beam, or top shelf gin and a few other selections they have. The prices are a bit higher, but not nearly as bad as I might have thought. It is nice that this convenience is offered, and makes the option of a drink while sitting out at the beach or on the walkway bench a nice way to relax and enjoy the resort.

I believe the BWV store also has some similar adult beverages. It will be interesting to see if BCV store will carry adult beverages. Does anyone know if WLV store does?
