I am making my ADRs soon and have been considering Wine Bar George. I have seen some good reviews and was wondering if anyone here has eaten there and what their opinions are. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

We liked it! I am gluten free, so my options were a little more limited but I enjoyed my food. My husband who is not GF really liked it also. Of course, wine was plentiful and lots of options at every price point.

We enjoy it and it is a good place to go if you are not all feeling the same amount of hunger. Excellent wine selection, they don’t try to upsell and they are not snobbish about their wines, even though they have some impressive vintages. The only slight, very slight, negative worth considering, is that the sea bass at WP has a similar presentation but cost quite a bit less.
They usually have an offer running. You say a girl’s name (I think Sadie, but hopefully someone else will confirm) and you get a buy one get one free deal on glasses of the house wine. Avoid midday Sunday (after brunch but before dinner) as they have a more limited menu.

We were wholly underwhelmed by the restaurant. The food was meh. Service wasn't great (we don't drink so I think we got ignored).

My family really enjoys it. My husband LOVES it. The food is consistently good and we've always had great service at the bar & at a table. I don't drink, but my mom and husband are always thrilled with the wine choices. The servers have good wine knowledge and will be able to help guide you. I don't think my husband has gotten the same one twice. We typically go once a trip as it's easy to get into and solid. We really like the mac & cheese bites and saganaki on fire. The charcuterie board is really good as well. My husband loves their steak & eggs on the brunch menu.

We love it. The saganaki on fire is fun and delightfully salty, but it must be eaten quickly before is sets. Meatballs are rich; the hummus is amazing. Charcuterie board is done well. Froscato is very good if you do cocktails. We’ve done the skirt steak once and enjoyed it, but we tend to get the small plates.

We love it. The food is always good, and of course the wine selection is fantastic. We love that you can get small tasting portions of some of the more unique wines as we enjoy trying new things. It's a must do for us!

One of my fondest dining memories of WDW.
Main course was served family style (pre pandemic so the restaurant was ahead of the curve, 😝) and assisted in just making us all feel like we were in the same place at the same time. Amazing wine selections, great mock tails and drinks for those who do not partake in alcohol; friendly and efficient service. I seem to recall we had different beginning courses and one of them was a grilled salad that I’ve subsequently made at home and thanks for the memory. One time we had a hangar or skirt steak, and another a fish dish- all good. We sat upstairs which is a bit quieter than downstairs.

ETA Once we had a delicious olive cake for dessert other times we succumbed to sorbet/gelato down the street.

Been twice. Both times were good. First time got several small plates (meatballs, mac-n-cheese balls, Iberico pork), and all were excellent. Second got the skirt steak. Also excellent, but I felt the serving size was smaller than I had seen at another table during the previous visit. Amazing wine menu.

I love Wine Bar George! I went strictly for the Ibérico Pork and it was fantastic (though small- as it’s a “small plate” 😉)… I also love their hummus and the frozen drinks are yummy too! 😋 It was a great meal with great service, but quite expensive (I made a meal out of several small plates 😳 … it would’ve been more reasonable had I ordered an actual meal, but they were all so yummy!).

I was so excited to try this place. The food was good but small portions for the price. I tried a wine flight but our waiter was terrible. When I asked him about his experience he told me he hated wine, never drinks it and just 'fakes it till he makes it'. I tried the couple of wines he brought out and left. I was very upset, and he definitely didn't make it. There was a lady out front serving the wine to go who did seem to be very knowledgeable. I wish she had waited on us instead. I would go back and try again, and would hope for a different server.

Love it. Saganaki, sit outside upstairs. Great service. Great food. But, George, NO OUZO??!! What the Mastiha?
Next time I’ll expect ouzo, and tsipouro.

Have not really tried the food. The star is the wines and they are the stars. The staff are awesome and have lots of knowledge to help.

We love Wine Bar George!! Dinner is really good….but brunch is our favorite!!! Hard to get in for walk up for brunch, so use OpenTable and no issues. Disney only gets 20% of the tables at Disney Springs for reservations, OpenTable gets 80%

highly recommend

In a word, consistent. This is the only restaurant we go to multiple times each trip because it is always great quality. They also have a world class wine list and have won awards for it. We love to sit on the balcony and people watch while enjoying dinner or brunch. George is usually there and very nice. We have seen him cleaning tables so he isn't just a greeter. You don't see managers working as hard as he does very often at a Disney restaurant.
