I know that Jiko supposedly has a great wine list, but does anyone know about Boma? I'd love to try some African wines with our dinner. We chose Boma over Jiko because of our 2 kids being with us and we thought they would like Boma better. Also, can you actually see any animals from Boma or from walking around the lodge anywhere? Thanks.

We can order wine at Boma, especially South African wines.

You can't view any animals from Boma, but there are plenty of viewing sights in and around the lodge.

My guess is that the wine lists at the 2 restaurants are similar if not identical (the restaurants are right next to each other). The lounge is located above Boma and is one of our favorite lounges at WDW. It has a wondeful wine list (but pricey!!!).

You can't see the animals from either resort. I think they laid it out wrong...it sure would be nice if you could.

Have a great time!

Boma has a really nice wine sampler. You can choose either red or white.
I don't remember the price. You get three different wine tastings. Then if you want another glass, you can order a full glass of your favorite. I enjoyed the red one last year. :flower:

Yes, the red wine flight is excellent! Boma has a pretty good winelist. Enjoy!

:thumbsup2 Thanks everyone! I'm even more excited now, if that's possible. Do you remember if the wine flights were real pricey? Maybe DH could get the red and I could get the white. Mmmmmmm. At least we are going during free dining  and will only be paying the bar tab and tip.

The red wine flight was around 27 i believe. Our server suggested my friend and i get one and share. That was we could taste and order what we wanted after that.

I have a wine list from last September, and the prices were $10.25 for the white flight and $9.00 for the red flight. The Guardian Peak Cab/Merlot/Shiraz was my favorite of the reds-I found it online and ordered a whole case, which is now gone. I can't wait to go back for more wine...uh, and the food too! :drinking1

I'm glad to see this last post. I became rather concerned when I saw the $27 the previous poster had thought. :sad2:

Sorry for the double post!!

:cheer2: I'm glad to see this last post. I became rather concerned when I saw the $27 the previous poster had thought. :sad2: I don't have that much money in my wine budget for one meal. I'll be at WDW all week and a girl's gotta drink, you know!! :rotfl2:
