Wine and Dine 1/2 2011?

I know that this is the first year for the Wine and Dine 1/2, but I wondered if anybody had heard anything about next year already? When can I expect them to announce the dates if they decide to do it again? My best friend and I were planning on taking our families to WDW next October and after reading about this, I totally want to train for it and run my first 1/2 marathon. She's done 3 or 4 already and will have the same amount to run in the next year as well, so she's excited we can do it together!

if it is certain to happen the date will be available either at the DL Expo or the W&D Expo. I am betting the bean counters are wanting to see the P&L for the race before deciding on the 2011. If it happens I would hope the date would fall back into the Food and Wine Fest a little further. But that is just me.

Like Charles said, I am not sure if even Disney is sure the race will go on again next year. Judging by how quickly it sold out I suspect it will but that doesn't mean it will be the first weekend again. I think there will be either a date or at least teaser announced at the expo for this year's if it is happening again.

I do suspect though that it would remain the first weekend for logistical reasons. I imagine that setting up the special party on the first weekend and then getting it out of the way has some logistical advantages but that is complete speculation.

Thanks y'all. I assume somebody will post something if they hear anything. The first weekend would work the best for us, but anytime in October other then Halloween weekend works. Not that they asked me!

I am looking to coincide a trip to Disney with this half also - will keep an eye out for the date! Hope they announce it soon!

DH and I are planning on running this in 2011 also! Hopefully the dates are around the same time as this year because then it would be an anniversary trip too
