Windsor Palms

Anyone know anything about here? I have been talking to an owner about staying at her condo and I was thinking it was Windsor Hills- but just noticed it is Windsor Palms. Is it the same thing as Windsor Hills and is it close to the gates? We always stay on property but can't pass this up.. 491.00 for 4 nights including cleaning fee and taxes split! So $245.00 per family! Can anyone give me any insight?

Windsor Palms was built first, then Windsor Hills. WP is slightly older and slightly further away from the gates but still within 5 minutes of the main gate. It is also really close to the Super Target and all the restaurants on 192. The clubhouse is really nice with a movie theater and all the bells and whistles the newer resorts have. Main clubhouse pool is big and clean but no water slide that I can remember.

IMO its one of the top 3 or 4 rental communities.

Ok- thank you! Would you do WH or WP? I just can't pass up the price tag.. Just afraid I'll be disappointed since I normally stay on site. :/

We have stayed at both and prefer WH because it is closer but if the price is right WP is perfectly fine. PP is correct, it is a bit further (maybe 5 minutes) from the gates and the pool doesn't have a waterslide like WH. But, that is pretty much it. Honestly, my kids don't even like the waterslide at WH - they say it hurts going down.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. I would be happy staying at WH or WP, and you will have a lot more space than if you were to stay onsite. Plus the price is great. How many bedrooms is the condo?

We have stayed at both and prefer WH because it is closer but if the price is right WP is perfectly fine. PP is correct, it is a bit further (maybe 5 minutes) from the gates and the pool doesn't have a waterslide like WH. But, that is pretty much it. Honestly, my kids don't even like the waterslide at WH - they say it hurts going down.

Ok, thanks. Yes, my kids probably aren't even old enough to enjoy the slide anyways.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. I would be happy staying at WH or WP, and you will have a lot more space than if you were to stay onsite. Plus the price is great. How many bedrooms is the condo?

We have stayed at both. The condos themselves are virtually identical. The main difference is that WH have elevators while WP does not. Also, like others have posted the pool at WH is much larger with a waterslide. Unless we are going for a long visit and planning on spending a lot of time by the pool I would go with the cheaper option! The location cant be beat! Very close to the theme parks yet convenient to stores, restaurants, etc!!

We are about to book a house there in Windsor Palms after searching the countless rentals all over the area. What sold me was first, it had to be closest to Disney, not the 15-20 minutes without traffic travel time and secondly, the price for such a nice place. We are looking at a house for nine people and what great deals they have there!!!
