Windsor Palms, road work, town homes

Will be staying at WP town home in a couple of weeks. I know the new Beltway is being built very close. I am wondering if anyone has been their recently and can tell me if the "conservation" area behind the town homes is still a "conservation" area or is it now the "Beltway".

This is a great question. I'm going to bump this up and see if anyone can give some insight. I've been looking at this resort/community and would like to know as well.

We just got back from a stay in a Windsor Palms townhome. We were the 2nd unit from the end and still backed up to conservation area. We were also at the corner that would have been closest to the construction area from what I can tell, so you should be safe in any of the townhomes. We did see the construction from the entrance to the resort. Take a look at http://www.disneywindsorpalms.com/images/planhigh.jpg. We were in townhome #10. I can't say for sure because we never took the time to drive around the resort, but I believe the construction may be close to some of the pool homes along the outside of Fan Palm Way.

Thanks so much for this information. I'm not sure want # our Town Home will be, but it looks like the conservation area is intact.

Was the Town Home what you expected it to be?

We stayed in a townhouse in Windsor Palms and were very pleased with it. Nothing negative to say about it Have Fun!!!!!!
