Anyone stayed here? Thoughts? What is the shuttle service to the parks like?

We stayed in this condo through All-Star:

We were very happy with it although we did not use the pool, shuttle, or any other resort amenities. We had our own car and did the parks pretty much from open to close.

We stayed here. www.disneyneighbor.com. The community is very nice and we used the pool and clubhouse amenities. We did not use the shuttle - we rented a car. We have also stayed at Windsor Hills and prefer that a bit more as it is a little newer than WP, a bit closer to the parks and the pool has a slide. But, would not hesitate to stay in WP again.

Windsor Palms is a nice community. Not too big and well kept. It is gated and manned 24hrs a day.

The shuttle service is independent and is used by many different communities in the area. It is operated by Maingate Transportation. They have pick up times and return times set depending on the operating hours of the parks and anticipated demand for the service. If you have enough people who will use the service, it may be worth contacting the company and arranging a private shuttle/taxi. (That can work out cheaper and more convenient).

Ideally, I recommend hiring a car - its the most flexible and allows you to come and go as you please. You can also spend time off site at restaurants / mini golf / other attractions in the area / pick up groceries etc.
