Windsor Palms question...

Ok, we have narrowed it down to Windsor Palms, found some great prices. $480 (incl. taxes) for a 3 bed! :cool1:

My only concern- it is on the 'middle' floor. Do you think that would be noisy? Are the condos fairly well-built and quite? I know some hotels we've been to were horrible. We are going the second week of Feb., so shouldn' t be too busy, but...

Also, is it actually warm enough in Feb. to go swimming in the outside heated pool? We are from Mich. so I know it will seem warm, but not sure if it will be that warm? :confused3

Thanks so much! This forum is awesome, I have found so many great places I never would have found otherwise and saved a ton!! :yay:

don't know - I am moving your question up so hopefully people familiar with WIndsor Palms will see it.

We stayed in one of the Windsor Palms condos on the middle floor for a month in July 2004 (so busy season) and from what I can recall I don't remember once hearing people above us. As for temps at that time of year, I'm having the same dilemna for our December trip this year....will it be warm enough to swim? I think at that time of year the temperatures vary considerably????

sorry didn't see the second question.

yes, Dec temp varies greatly been there when the High was in the middle 80's and at other times the low 40's.

It is still too far to predict what it will be.

We stayed in a 2nd floor condo a few years ago and had no trouble with noise, though I'm not sure if anyone was staying over us. My impression was that they were pretty well built, but as with hotels, all you need is one rowdy bunch above you to ruin the trip. That's part of the reason that we chose a townhome this year instead of a condo.

As for swimming, I'd pack a suit but don't count on being able to use it. We've been in Florida when it was in the 30's in early March. Most certainly not swimming weather.

Thanks for the replies! I have one more question- if the condo was listed on the Windsor Palms website windsor-palms-florida.net, is it assured to be legitamite? Do they all use the same company or are they checked out in order to be on there? Sorry, just freaked out that I gave my credit card to a stranger and afraid we'll get there and won't have lodging!

I don't know that they are checked out in any way, but I wouldn't worry. It is a dependable site. Word spreads far too quickly if someone is ripping people off. Its a very competitive market.

We'll be at Windsor Palms next Saturday! Can't wait.
