Has anyone stayed at Windsor Hills lately? We are considering staying in a 3 bdrm condo there from Apr.28-May 13, and am looking for any information from someone that has stayed there . Thank you in advance!

Kim

I have never heard of Windsor hills. What kind of condos do they offer? I am probably going to be staying at Windsor Palms.

From everything I read, it is a new development. The condo's look nery similar to Winsor Palms. You can find listings on vrbo.com .

I have not but I have stayed at Windsor Palms. The woman I rent from is up to 7 homes. They are gorgeous and come well stocked. Meaning I did not even have to go out and get TP, paper towels, detergent, soap, etc. We are going on our 3rd time renting from her. She has 3 in WP and 4 in the new WP. PM if you would like more info. :sunny:

We just returned from a week long stay at Windsor Hills. It was our first time staying in our new condo we recently purchased there.

The resort is beautiful. We enjoyed the pool as well as the club house facilities which includes a fitness center, movie theatre, pool tables and ping pong tables. The sundry shop is getting ready to open soon.

The resort is brand new and built by the same company that built Windsor Palms. The development is only a few miles to the Disney Parks and it was very easy to get there.

I'm sure you will enjoy your stay.

Beachbum3, Could you please supply more details? I'm trying to plan a trip and am interested in this development.

How was the traffic to the parks?
How long did it take from your door to parking lot to Magic Kingdom?
Did they have many homes built?
How was the construction in the area?
Can you describe the pool?

Thanks in advance!!

I am in the process of purchasing a 3B / 2B unit at Windsor Hills. It is a beautiful community that is very close to the parks. It has many amenities that are enjoyable for the entire family. If you want more information on this resort, including pictures and rental opportunities, you can visit their website at windsorhillsrent. If you have any other questions let me know.

We took the back way via Sherbeth road when we went to the parks. There is very little traffic that way. The ride from the development to the Magic Kingdom parking lot was probably around 15 minutes. You are actually on Disney property sooner but the ride to the Magic Kingdom takes a few minutes longer than Animal Kingdom, Epcot or MGM.

They are still building in the development. There is no construction around the community center and pool area. There are many houses, townhomes and condos that are complete near the pool.

The pool is big with fountains, a slide and a zero entry side. There is a nice size hot tub as well. If you go onto www.windsorhillsrent.com and click on the scrolling pictures on the right you will see pictures of the pool and development.

I hope this helps! :earsboy:

For tjose of you that own or have stayed there, where is the closest supermarket?

Thanks Again!!
Kim

The closest market is around a mile away on Formosa Gardens blvd. We shopped in the Publix which is about 3 miles away on 192. When the sundry shop opens they will have smaller items availble as well.

There will be shuttle service but it was not available when I was there last month. I understand when the sundry shops opens it will start running.
