We stayed at Windsor Palms a cpl of years ago and this year have been offered Windsor Hills which looks like a sister resort to Palms.
First question is has anyone stayed or booked or stayed here. It sounds very new, pool only opened 1st July and there is definately construction going on. Now do we go with what we know and pay $500 extra or go with something new having the 'worry' that we could be disturbed by the construction around us?
Next question is that we are booking the holiday via the internet, flights united airlines, fine, 3 nights at AKL :cool1: Disney, fine but the main stay we will be parting with our hard earned cash to a company called Global Reservations. This company looks legit but I still have concerns about paying $1500 to $2000 over the net, what protection is there?
Any answers or opinions on the above will be gratefully received.
And how do I get my counter, I've forgotten....again

IS IT A UK COMPANY THAT YOU HAVE BOOKED THE HOLIDAY WITH? IF IT IS THEN CHECK THAT THEY ARE ATOL AND ABTA PROTECTED.
if they are protected then you should be fine, surely you could phone them and pay or send them a cheque, better still pay with credit card.
as for the villa accomodation, from what i have heard and read , there is alot of construction going on there and some villa owners are not happy, as the through road overlooks on to their pool areas and villas. i may be wrong but im sure its in the same place where you are hoping to go to.
there are loads of villa websites to look at if your not happy withthe one you might book.
for one have a look here, these are very very good and very reasonable

Thanks Jeanette, I think its an American company, read the brits guide and there's a website of registered companies so will checking out that site tonight.
Thanks for the link as well, I've sent an enquiry as the price looks a lot better than we have been quoted. Have you used this website before?
Anthony

no i havent used the site, but it came on recommendations from friends!
we will be booking with them for next year though.
have you ordered there brochure.
good luck with booking your hols! love to know how you get on. :flower:

Thank you so much for that link, spoke to a really nice lady called Jemma who got us a 2 bed condo for £625 for 2 weeks that works out $1000 cheaper than the people quoted from the states!

If we could see you we'd give you a big :grouphug:

So we're all ready for October 11th flights booked, accom booked, car sorted and we get to use our annual passes

Thanks again Jeanette

If there was a downside Jemma said she could have probably bettered our price on our 3 nights at AKL but we live and learn.
