Windsor Hills vs. Vista Cay...HELP PLEASE

We were all set to stay in a townhouse at Windsor Hills when I got a quote from someone at Vista Cay. The quote is $50 cheaper so not a huge difference but the place looks really nice. They both look gorgeous, the vista cay looks bigger, the windsor hills has a splash pool. I'm just not sure. Has anyone ever stayed at both? Stayed at one and have an opinion?? I don't think we will have time to enjoy the pool/other ammenities at the resorts so that isn't really a factor, just the places in general i.e. how nice they are, security and so on. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it...I really need to make my decision fast.Thanks

Well, I can say that we stayed at WH last April and we loved it so much that we are going back this August. It was georgous! The condos are very spacious (we're a family of 4 - Me, DH, DD9 and DS11) As for the townhouses, we haven't stayed in one, but the video tours I've seen are quite nice.

As for security, I felt completely safe there. It's a gated resort.

May I ask who you were planning to rent through at WH and when you are going? We used Vacationcentralflorida and were VERY happy. I'd recommend them if they have anything available. Their only catch is that they only rent Sat-Sat. If I can answer any specific questions, let me know.

You can probably check Youtube for a video of the resort and some of the condos and townhouses. I've seen some good videos of the place on there. Vista Cay is probably on there too so you can get a good idea of the differences.

Windsor Hills is amazing, location is so convenient, and we've felt very secure there, in both townhouse and 5 BR vacation home. The gate is manned 24 hrs, and they check every car before letting one into the resort.

Check out VRBO.com for rates...I have consistently found it a more economical way to rent than through any agency. I can't tell you anything about Vista Cay, but I know I'd keep going back to WH as long as the rates don't keep climbing faster than a lot of other resorts.
