Who has stayed at Windsor Hills before? Reviews?
10 day vacation, how many days should we plan to stay there and relax Vs heading to Disney?

How long of a drive to Disney?

And, any restaurant suggestions close by?

We stay there several times per year and love it. We have tried other resorts around the area and have found WH to be our favorite. It's about a 5-7 minute drive from the front gate to World Drive and then the drive time from there depends on what park you're going to. 20 minutes to Universal. Tons of restaurants and shops all within a few miles. There is a new Walmart being built almost across the street which should be completed in November. Looks to be almost done... Also, WH is doing a major construction project on their community pool adding a bigger hot tub, splash park and dueling water slides. That is supposed to be done in January.

All is all, it is a really nice gated community that is really well maintained. The proximity to the attractions and restaurants and stores, etc is fantastic as well.

Thinking about a last minute trip next month and staying at WH. Is the pool completely closed, or just under active construction?

The pool is open during construction.

Pool is open. Construction is outside the current pool area.

use the sherberth short cut!!!!!!!!, avoid that light.

We have stayed there 3 times. We do love it...though the area seems to be going down a little. We are a little concerned with the super walmart going up on the corner.
