Hi! We travel to Disney yearly and have experimented with numerous off site properties. On our last 3 visits we stayed at WBC and once at HI -Orange Lake Resort. My kids LOVED to participate in some of the structured arts and crafts activities, Pirate scavenger hunt and Swim-in movies (large screen set up by the pool). Some of our best days (no crankiness!) were spent at the resort all day and not in the parks. :) Does WH have any structured activities similar to these?

The resorts I have stayed at definitely have a more "resort-like" feel than WH sound's like it has, so if we go with WH it might be a big change for us! We've stayed at private villas and missed the activities you could participate in. Just want to be sure before we take the leap to try something new.

Thanks for the help!!

When we have stayed in the past, WH has had visits from Gatorland with their traveling show, a DJ that does karaoke and games for the kids and caricatures. I believe you can find a schedule on the WH website. They also have the movie theater where you get to pick the movie and play time. They also have the games room and several playgrounds.

You could try Reunion Resort, I know they have activities for kids but you might have to pay for them. I noticed that this home has the waterpark included in the price: http://www.vrbo.com/3474000ha
We stayed there a few years ago but it has new owners now.
