Windsor Hills Questions

Hi,

I'm thinking about renting one of the pool houses in Windsor Hills for a family trip this November. We usually stay onsite, but with a bigger group going this time, this looks like a much better option. I have a few random questions I'm hoping you could help me with:

1. What happens if there's a problem with the house (something's broken, for example)? Do you have to go through the owner? Is there any onsite management that can help?

2. Are towels and sheets usually included? What about pool towels?

3. Is check in and check time pretty standard for all of the houses?

4. I know it's gated - I'm assuming they give you a pass when you check in that you show to the guard each time you go through? I'm also assuming you can get more than one pass since we'll have more than one car at the house? What happens if you have a guest visit?

5. Are outside guests allowed at the club pool?

We stay in Windsor Hills several times per year and it is a great resort. To answer your questions..

1.) Just about all owners have on site management that maintains the house. If there is a problem you would simply call the owner or manager. We have found that their number is posted in the house for just such an occasion.

2.) Towels and sheets are included including pool towels.

3.) check in is usually 4pm and checkout is usually around 10 or 11 am depending on the house. You can ask for an early check in or late check out it might be available depending on the schedule of that particular house.

4.) the owner or manager will provide a pass of some sort to verify you are registered as a guest. You will give that to security at check in and they give you a card with a barcode on it that you use to enter and exit the resort at the main gate. Simply notify your host of the names of your guests, how many cars and names of guests and they can add them to your reservation as well.

5.) You can bring a guest to the main pool. When you check in, the staff give you a gate code which opens the gate at the pool and doors to the clubhouse. Share your code with the people in your party.


We have stayed in several houses in Windsor Hills and they are not all created equal. With different owners and different management companies in the resort you will find a large variation in quality, cleanliness and amenities. Our go to villa is a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom pool home. www.villaparklane.com We have found the owners to be great to deal with, very responsive and the management team is very meticulous. It is maintained to a high standard which we appreciate. They are booked well in advance so I'm not sure if your dates are available but since we regularly receive great service from the owners I feel comfortable sharing their information.

We too are looking at staying at Windsor Hills. What can you tell me about check in....i understand its done at the gate, but we won't get down to Orlando until around 9pm. Will that be an issue?

The gate is manned 24 hours a day.
