I have never heard of them either. However, there is so many available rental properties, I think the chances of finding someone who has rented to be low. It looks great though, and I'm sure you'll enjoy.

We found a review of our villa, Gigha Villa, on tripadvisor.com. Not too many are reviewed there, but it's worth a try. Try googling the name of the villa, plus Kissimmee or "windsor hills" and you may find other reviews.

No I don't know who the MC is. I've read other posts of yours that mention how there are some not so good ones out there. We've already paid the deposit, so there's not much I can do if it's a bad one. BTW, thanks for all the information that you provide on these boards. You and FLParadisevilla have been a huge help. I would have loved to have rented from either of you, but I needed more bedrooms.

I have tried to Google it and searched on trip advisor. I don't know if the home has a name. Somewhere I saw 'The Retreat' used, but I'm not sure if that's the name. Of course when I Google it, I get all kinds of things because retreat is a common word to use for places to stay on vacation.

The owner has been very nice and answers my emails within 24hrs. My gut says everything will be fine. I just thought maybe someone might be familiar with the house or it's owner.

One more thing. Does anyone have suggestions of questions I should ask the owner? For example, will there be toilet paper or do I need to pick some up before we get there?

Ask about TP, garbage bags, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, diswasher soap, since often times there is just a "startup supply" of these items provided in the home.

There should be at least one roll of TP, and Paper Towels, and 1 set of trash bags, but you will need to pick up some once your there. I don't think its something you will have to pick up on your way to the home though.
I am sure once you get your final check in details they will tell you all that you will need to know about the home and checking in, and who the MC is.
I know I send out quite a large package to our guests, probably too much information... He he but I would rather that everyone have more info than needed.

Ok, I did some sleuthing. The home is called either "The Retreat" or "Crystal Palace" depending on which website you view. Perhaps they changed the name or they are new owners.

They do advertise it as "the Crystal Palace" on tripadvisor (http://www.tripadvisor.com/Resources-g34352-Maps-Kissimmee_Florida.html) , but there are no reviews of it there that I could find.

they also list it on several other website such as VRBO (#109391) and others.

They also have their own website, which has a virtual tour:

Although I could find no online reviews, the fact that they have advertised through so many legit venues, and show so many pictures -- and video, added to their good responses to your emails, would certainly be enough for me to be sure of the villa and its owners.

Thanks for the sleuthing. I hadn't seen it called Crystal Palace. VRBO is where I originally found the home and had viewed the owners website from there.

I have seen the review of Gigha on Tripadvisor and have to say the person I have been dealing with has been fantastic. Very accommodating and friendly. Hello all!

We just returned Sunday and as promised, I wanted to let you know how it turned out. The house was wonderful, exactly as it looks in the pictures. I can't say much about Windsor Hills itself, because we never went to the clubhouse or pool, there just wasn't enough time. Thank you, to everyone on these boards who helped me plan and gave me priceless information. I can't wait to go back!

Windsor Hills is a new resort and all the homes are likely to be OK - if you do have any issues just call the owner's management company and they should sort them out while you are there. Most owners have a website where you can see pics of the interior, pool, etc. and get info about the location. Have a great vacation!

I personally know Jon and Caroline Notman, they are a wonderful genuine couple who take great pride in their home, you will not be disappointed with your choice!
