Windsor Hills 2 BD condo vs Grande Villas (formerly Cypress Pointe)

Hi! I'm trying to decide between renting a 2 BD/2Bath condo in Windsor Hills vs a 2 BD/2Bath condo at Grande Villas at Turtle Cay. It looks like the Villas are also timeshare, and everything I've read mentions high-pressure sales. Has anyone stayed at either of these resorts? Which is better?

We have stayed at Windsor Hills. It was a lovely resort. I have not been there since 2007, however. I have never been to the other place.

We've stayed at both Windsor Hills and Cypress Pointe. They're both very nice resorts. We politely declined to even engage in conversation with the timeshare hawkers when we checked in at CP and they did not bother us for the rest of our stay. We booked Cypress Pointe through Skyauction and were not required to attend a timeshare presentation as a part of our stay. I would stay away from a mandatory TS presentation as a condition of your stay.

Grande Villas Resort was formerly known as Cypress Pointe Grande Villas or Cypress Pointe Phase II. We've stayed at both Cypress Pointe Resort and the adjacent Grande Villas Resort and enjoyed both visits. We didn't experience any pressure to attend a sales presentation either time. While I don't specifically recall how it went at Grande Villas, I'd guess that my typical practice of just declining a presentation opportunity was met with courtesy there.

Windsor Hills does not have any timeshare units, so there is 0% of any high-pressure sale. Usually need 4 - 5 bed rooms when we stay in Windsor Hills, but have stayed in a 2 BD/2Bath condo once and would be happy to again if 2 bed rooms would meet our needs. I find the choice of condos, town homes or pool homes and the location of WH makes a great “home base” for a WDW vacation. Universal Studios, Sea World and other central Florida attractions are not as close, but it’s not much trouble to get to them from WH. I imagine the Grande Villas and Windsor Hills amenities would be similar.
