I have this wonderful picture on my computer desktop. I'd like to send it to my DH. However, I don't know what file to send.

I right-clicked on a pic on the net and did a "save as wallpaper" - what file would it save to?

Thanks!

I don't have Windows XP in front of me, but see if this location works.
C:\Documents and Settings\*******\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft"
(where *******, is the login name you're using, e.g.. Administrator).

There should be a file called Wallpaper.bmp, open it and you'll see your current wallpaper.

You can also do a search on C drive and look for anything *.bmp.

All of above is correct except: leave out Local Settings and also go one directory deeper (\Internet Explorer) and the file will be called Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp

Thanks! I FINALLY found mine on the local settings thing! I've always wanted to ask this question but never did!
