Has anyone ever purchased windows from window world? I did an I'm so angry, I feel like the salesman who came out to our house didn't hear a word I said. When he came out I told him I wanted double hung windows with FULL screens then I told him I wanted the inside of the windows to be white and I wanted the outside to be beige/tan (part around actual window)..
It had the color listed on the contract so I didn't pay any attention to that, but the contract didn't say anything about full screens, so when I called to question him about the full screens he tried to talk me out of them, he told me in his years of doing this job only 1 other customer got full screens blah blah blah. I insisted and he made the changes so I thought it was all good.
So Wednesday the guys come to put the windows in they had already removed most of my old windows, and put in two of the new windows before I realized the inside and outside trim was all white. I was so mad, but at this point I didn't have my receipt so the guy installing showed me his where it says white/white.
I guess I really don't have a question just extremely mad at myself and window world, I haven't called and complained to the company yet, just so busy with other things in my life right now, but every time I look at the outside of the house I want to cry, cause it's not what I wanted.
I feel like the salesman was trying to keep his prices competitive with the other people I had give me estimates so he ignored my special requests that would have raised the price (which I would have been willing to pay, because I knew exactly what I wanted)
