I have ADRs for CG in September. First time. Do I have to request a window seat? I have no idea how it is setup. Would I call dining or CG directly?

Thanks!

I don't think you can reserve a window table in advance. You'll have to do it when you arrive at the podium.

This can be difficult if you are dining at a "busy" dining hour such as 7pm so if you can, make your ADR for a "off time" or when the restaurant opens at 5:30 for your best chance. Good luck!

My ADR is for 7 pm! It's also my big "25th" Anniversary dinner, we thought we would do one signature. Hmmm...what to do what to do???:confused3

What time is Wishes that night? You can bet that if it is at 9pm or even 10pm, the restaurant will start to get very busy plus it is a popular time to eat dinner. You may not get a window table. If you are able to by luck, you may have to wait a long time.

If possible, could you change it to a earlier time?

I have never had a problem getting a window seat at CG. I have eaten there probably 8 times in the past 2 years. I recommend showing up early for your reservation, like 6:15 or 6:30pm. Check in at the podium (on the 2nd floor i believe) and let them know of your request. They will probably say "You may have to wait longer for a table" which is fine if you want a window seat. And since you are early, I usually found that you are sat right around your dining time, sometimes even earlier. So after you check in just go to the bar and have a drink and wait. Have a good time and Happy Anniversary. Make sure you add a note to your resi that it is your 25th anniversary. I was there in May for my anniversary and they did something nice for us.

We never requested one but when we made the ADR we noted it was a special occasion and they gave us one without even asking. Could be luck? I would request one at podium anyway.
