Window seat at California Grill?

DM and I have an ADR at California Grill Saturday September 2 for 9pm. What do you all think the chances are for getting a window seat? How do you ask nicely for this and do I mention that it's my 25th birthday?

When you check in, by all means mention that you're celebrating a birthday. I wouldn't hold out a lot of hope for a window seat, though, the CG is a popular place for celebrations of one kind or another, and probably half the people checking in that night will have told the CM their own 'special' reason for wanting a window seat.

Not to worry, though. When the fireworks start, you can go out on the observation deck and you'll have a lovely view.

We didn't have a window seat but the view was still amazing! We didn't stay for fireworks though as our ressie was too early, but we did go out and get a couple of wonderful pictures of the castle from the observation deck.

When I booked my ADR I mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary and we were given a window table without even asking for one!

If you don't have a window table, the view from the terrace outside is wonderful anyway, so it really doesn't matter so much

All you can do is ask. If one is available, you'll get it. I was there a few weeks ago and we were given a window table and didn't even request it.
