Window or aisle?

I was just looking at airfare and was wondering which one is the favorite. So which do you prefer, an aisle seat or window?

I've never flown before. I think I would have to have an aisle seat.

I prefer the aisle seat. Looking out the window makes me kinda nervous, LOL!

Up until recently, I would have voted Window. But now I much prefer the aisle. So much easier to get in and out of.

I prefer window exit row. I like being able to take pictures out of the plane window if I want to and if I get tired I have something to lean my head on so I can sleep better. I prefer exit row now because there is tons more leg room. I don't need the leg room but it is so much easier for me to cross my legs while sitting there.

When DH & I flew last summer, we found the perfect seats. The last row on the left only had 2 seats, whereas all the other rows had 3. Therefore we were able to got both a window and an aisle, plus some extra room. I took the window, but didnt have to worry about climbing over people to get out, because it was just DH. He had the aisle but was able to lean over and look out the window.

Exit row window seat. i am petrified of height but I love to look out the wondow of a plane and take pictures.

I always try for an aisle. I'm not that tall but I like to have the extra freedom of the aisle and not be totally boxed in.

Aisle for the leg room.

We usually fly on 737s with 3 seats on either side of the aisle. I always sit by the window, DS in the middle, and DH on the aisle.

I would have to say it depends...

If I'm travelling alone, I prefer an aisle so I can walk around, use the facilities, etc. I don't mind having to let other people out, but I don't really like to be the one to ask if I can go out.

If I'm travelling with someone, then I like the window, so at least I know the person I'm asking to move out of the way. (Pretty selfish, huh???)

Aisle....it's hard to pretend I'm on a Greyhound bus if I'm sitting next to the window and can't see ground

I usually sit in the middle, because the kids like to sit by the window.

But, I prefer the aisle

It used to be Window, but DH prefers that and since I'm the one that has to get up and go as least once a flight it is easier to take the aisle. We usually try and fly the AA Super 80's that have 2 seats on one side and 3 on the other. We grab one of the 2 person rows.

I chose window but If I were with a loved one I would let her have the window seat
