Anyone want to venture a guess as to why today's high winds causes IASW to go down.

Because all the leaves (as well as bits of bark from those pesky eucalyptus trees in the area) blowing around fall in the water and clog the pumps. There's more than one pump that has to be cleaned out.
 
Were there high winds? I live in SoCal (45 minutes from Anaheim) and didn't realize there were high winds today!:rotfl2: Maybe the winds were just in Orange County.

Yes it was very windy in Orange County today (actually since last night). We have masses of pine needles in our gutters from the street trees that we now have to clean up :headache:. Probably about 2 trash cans full (big trash cans).

It's supposed to be windy through tomorrow. :sad2:
