Will your family name die out?

The name won't die because there's distant relatives/cousins etc with the name. But my immediate maternal LINE ends with me. My maternal grandparents had 2 children: my mom (who has just me) and my uncle (no kids). My uncle is not having kids and neither am I, so the buck stops here. There's no way I would have a kid just to continue the line- its not like we are royalty and need an heir to the throne.
