I can honestly say that I have never seen an episode of that show. Am I missing something good?

You would not like it. It's morally corrupt. It's also very, very funny at times. There are reruns on Fox at 7 and 7:30pm on weeknights.
The show is about a drug and sex addict who's an entertainer, buying prostitutes and acting like it's perfectly normal. The character's name is Charlie on the show. In other words, if Sheen leaves the show, the show is over because it IS about him.

I stopped watching it a long while ago.

Probably won't watch it now.

But I think Rose (was she the crazy whackadoodle neighbor?) was my favorite character. Maybe she can come back.

OMG. O.M.G!!!! I hadn't even thought of MJF but he would be so awesome. It makes me so sad that his health prevents him from working now :( Or, at least, the majority of the time. I had heard he tried to do a cameo but ended up having to back out.

Now him AND Charlie Sheen? Oh! They need to get rid of Alan and bring MJF in as a just discovered brother for Charlie! Don't get me wrong - I totally identify with Alan and love him but Charlie, Berta, and the kid were the show. Rose and Alan were great supporting roles and the mom was funny but I could take her or leave her.

IMO, the writing is 1/4 of the show - what the actors DO with it is the other 3/4. And no one can DO like Charlie Sheen.

Michael J Fox is doing a repeat character on Good Wife. He's in the whole show each time he's on. He plays a reprehensible attorney who uses his disability to his advantage. His character and Julianne Margoulis' character hate each other although his character does not admit it. She is very upfront about her contempt.

I voted that I will start watching it. I've never watched it before.

I'd love to see the show thrive with another actor in his place, if for nothing than to show Charlie Sheen that he isn't the irreplaceable tiger-blooded warlock with Adonis DNA he fancies himself to be.

I enjoyed the show for a long time but lately the joke is getting old. That said, I don't think there is a show without Charlie. IMO it's like Roseane leaving Roseane - it just won't work.

This is how I feel too. I loved the show. There were many episodes that had me laughing out loud. I agree, though, the joke was getting old. I have told my husband, while watching, "Ok...he's a drunk pig. I get it." They took his character too far. There used to be just enough 'good guy' in him to make you like him...and be able to find his antics to be funny. Lately his character has become just as pitiful as he is in real life. To some extent, the same could be said of Allen. If they did one more episode about how he was, how to say this in a Dis friendly way...making himself happy, I think I may have screamed.

I am cracking up at Drunky McCrazy pants and WILL be stealing that!! Hilarious.

I used to watch the show and like it but lately I think it's been so tasteless and vulgar. I'm no prude but I think they just go for the cheap laughs now. I would probably watch it without him just to hike the ratings up and tick off Mr Tigerblood.

My though exactly. I'll watch just to help with the ratings...

It's wrong to let one disturbed man, ruin this show for everyone. I will definitely watch, if he's replaced.

I watch only 2 network TV shows, 2 1/2 men and Big Bang Theory, so I'm down to only 1 show :upsidedow. I'll keep watching HGTV and Food Network then :happytv:

Oops, just remembered I also like Modern Family, so that's 2 shows I can watch LOL

Now.

Michael J. Fox has done quite a bit lately:

The Good Wife - he's been in a few episodes this season
Rescue Me- great role

He also did another great one and I can't remember the show.

He wouldn't fit for 2 1/2 men, his recent roles have been serious and more drama.

I have never watched that show. Why should I start watching it now that he is not in it?

I will watch it BECAUSE he isn't on it.

As for replacing him?? Maybe some sitcom star from "long ago" or maybe another member of John Hughes (sp) movies? Judd Nelson (I think that was his name??), Scott Baio, etc.

I'd definitely give it a shot. A show does not stay popular just due to one actor, even if it's the title character. From what I've seen, the show has really been successful because of a good supporting cast and good writing. If the show was only Charlie, I think it would have died quite a while ago because the character of Charlie has absolutely gotten old.

At the moment, I won't watch it at all because Sheen's behavior has left a bad taste in my mouth. The guy thinks everyone else should kiss the ground he walks on. I'll tell you something, I'm thinking of something he can kiss, but it's not the ground.

I really hope that he gets help for whatever it is that's going on with him and that we finally get to see a better man underneath all those problems.

I would give it a try. I watch it now all the time (new episodes, plus the repeats on FX).

I love all the supporting players - maybe they could bring Jane Lynch's character back and have her conduct sessions with the cast over Charlie either rehab or whatever they do with him.

LOVE Jane's Lynch on that show - she's hysterical as the therapist.

I'll watch if the show continues. I just started watching it not that long ago, and I like it. I hope they do continue with the show without Charlie, and I hope the ratings go up dramatically, not only because I think it's a good show, but to show Charlie that he's not irreplacable, like he seems to think he is.

Am I the only one who believes what made the show work so well was that Charlie wasn't acting? It was more like reality TV. Charlie was just being himself; doing what he does in real life, only CBS got a few extras and taped it.

I think they'd have to do a spin-off, with one of the supporting characters as the focus, for it to be successful. Even at that, it will be a stretch.

I never really used to watch, mainly because of him. He seemed like such an arrogant jerk outside of the show, that it really was a turn-off for me to watch (I know sounds stupid, but :confused3.) I'd say there's a much higher chance that I'll actually start watching the show if he's replaced.

Looks like Charlie's going to get a reality show anyway, I'd be highly shocked if that didn't happen. THere are probably tons of producers throwing ideas and cash at him right now for various reality show concepts. I"ve already heard something is in the works already.

"Tiger blood and Adonis DNA" "I bang 7 gram rocks, that's how I roll" "I'm into by-winnning." Sir Charles Sheen

I think it will just as funny without him. I would watch the show, and crazy pants makes the show.
