Will you tell me if I picked good dates?

I posted my dates on the Dining board and the countdown Board but I thought I would post here also since I am not sure where something like this would be best answered.

I am taking my son and hubby Sept 10th through the 16th. My husband was so worried about crowds. We know it is par for the course with Disney, but we also researched the lowest crowd time, and these appeared to be good dates

I have also heard that the end of Sept can be busy, but not the first fews weeks. But heck, what do I know? But only true Disney travelers know what I should expect.

I figured I was in good shape until the free dining came along, now my poor dh is concerned again.

So please let me know what it will be like.

Even with free dining it will still be one of the slowest times of the year. I have been every sept for 5 years and I have never encountered crowds.

We used to go in September and it was wonderful. You could walk down Main Street and only see 15 people, no lines for rides, restaurants, bathrooms!!! I miss going in September SOOOOO much, but with my DS in middle school, the makeup work would be horrible!!! Even in 5th grade last year right before Christmas break, we took himout for 3 days and he spent 4 days of Christmas break making up work. Have a great time, even with free dining, it will not be very crowded...

If there are crowds they will be VERY minimal

September is great. DH and myself went in 2004 and 2005 (with the fred dining) and crowds were pretty low. I could tell a slight difference with the crowds in 2005, but not enough to matter.

We had originally planned to go back Feb 2007, but I'm hoping to convice DH to go in Sept again- the dining plan is great!

Same here, we also were talking about going in 2007. But now with the free dining plan lets go in Sept instead. Last Sept was great, no crowds and free dining.

Great dates...... I'll be there, too! Tell DH not to worry! Go ahead and make your meal ressies now, that will give him less to be concerned about. Only the MAJOR rides will have lines and even then they won't be too long.
