Will you skip hollywood studios on your next trip?

We are going after lunch one day. We will spend the morning sleeping in and at the pool. We have our FP's for TOT/Star Tours, TSMM, and Indiana Jones, an ADR for 50's PT, and a plan to see Fantasmic. Anything else we get done is icing.

We will skip DHS and Epcot for sure. I was arguing against MK because of crowds but I'm being overruled. :)

LOL. this is the only park we're going to next time during our mostly Universal trip. My son's favorite ride is Tower of Terror. And we'll do all Star Wars stuff. And hoping to fit in Fantasmic if possible with fireworks.

I'm really looking forward to HS; test track, toy story, frozen sing a long, beauty and the beast, fantasmic and Star Wars fireworks. We will definitely fill a whole day there. Can't wait for the shows, as well as the rides. :)

Our trip isn't until 2017, but I think we may only do a half of day there. My kids really like Sci Fi Dine In and they want to do Minnies Seasonal Dining and also see Fantasmic! so we might just spend time relaxing at our resort in the AM and then head over to Hollywood Studios for lunch and do the couple things that my kids like...my older DS wants to ride ToT for the first time and my younger DS wants to see the Disney Junior Show, so I am thinking that hubby can take older DS to ToT while I take younger DS to Disney Jr and then possibly meet up for B&B and also want to do TSMM and Frozen show...I think thats enough stuff to fill an afternoon at Hollywood Studios

I don't think we'll go to Hollywood Studios for a long time, just not enough open there anymore for the time being (especially since we don't get park hoppers)

We are doing 1.5 days there in June. ToT is my fave ride, we love Star Wars and we love the shows!

Not skipping it during our trip next month, but only doing 1 day there instead of our usual 2. There's still enough for us for one full day of activities. Plus we all want to see the Star Wars fireworks.

Even if some newbies weren't coming with us we'd still be spending HALF a day at HS. Though some things we love gone, there's still Star Tours, TSMM, Great Movie Ride, and ToT which are some of our favorite attractions. Not to mention I refuse to miss Fantasmic! for as long as Disney will show it. We'll pick it back up to a full day park once the expansions are open.

We're staying at the boardwalk (first week of December) this trip, so my guess is that we'll go for a hour to two hours first thing one morning, do toy story, tower of terror, muppets, and rock'n roller coaster, and then walk back to the Boardwalk for breakfast. Spend the last half of the morning and lunch at Epcot. Doubt we'll go at night, since AK will have rivers of light running by then. And we usually have a max of 2 late nights a trip.

If we upgrade to park hopper to get free dining, then we will visit for maybe 1/2 day.

We are doing a half-day. Launch Bay for Kylo and Chewy, Frozen show, maybe BatB or Indy (depending on show times), GMR, TSMM, Muppets. Neither of us are interested in ToT or RnR (I don't do well on rides that go upside-down and my friend doesn't like rides with huge drops). We're going to Epcot after we're done at DHS for dinner and time in World Showcase.

We almost always have park hoppers, so that means we'll keep going, head there at RD in the morning, hit up one standby ride, launch bay, fp a couple things, get a starring rolls cupcake, watch batb & then head over to epcot for the rest of the day. Maybe come back that night for Fant or do it on arrival night.
Yes, this...
We always have had park hoppers so why not? Even for a 1/2 day and do what we like. I can't imagine skipping it altogether.

Nope. TOT is one of my favourite rides at WDW! I'm not much of a Star Wars fan, but I love Star Tours and the fireworks sound awesome!

Yes, we plan on skipping studios this time around. To much construction going on.

I will not skip, but will not spend a whole day either...Had I not had to get hoppers, I would only go once though. Messing with the Animation building really devalued the park for me!...Didn't it all start with a mouse?

Not skipping! We'll go for:
  1. New SW fireworks (hopefully w/dessert party)
  2. Club Villain (if offered in Aug)
  3. RnR
  4. TSMM
  5. ToT
  6. Star Tours
We'll probably take in the other SW stuff again as well. That's the vast majority of what we've always gone to DHS for.

I recently got back and no way would I skip DHS! I met Chewie and saw Star Wars Fireworks (woohoo!), rode Star Tours 3 times, TSM twice, checked out Launch Bay, belted out "In Summer" at the Frozen Singalong, saw Beauty and the Beast, and had a great lunch at Hollywood Brown Derby. I didn't even do ToT or RnRC, which are the main draws for a lot of people. I love DHS.
