I watched a little of the GMA spot about the Flight of Passage ride and started to think that I would rather wait in line rather than FP ...at least the first few times.
I would go with my XDW and kids before FP+.."when you got a FP from a kiosk and didn't always get the main rides"...and would actually enjoy the wait in line for the ambience and anticipation leading up to the ride.
With these 2 rides being kinda short I look forward to the queue as part of the ride...
I will be there on the first day but also for a week before and after, so I hope to hit a soft opening but I still will wait on the the first day because the atmosphere should be electric..or maybe at least

I have been thinking about this as well. I am not going until Oct but I was thinking about hitting Pandora at RD for EMH and setting up fast passes for EE and KS for later in the day.

Honestly my first time I will probably FP it just so I can get to ride I am usually more ok with waiting in the queue once I have been on the ride.

By the time I get to WDW again, the insanity should die down. I'd FP first though and then enjoy the queue another time. That said, if the wait was less than 30 minutes, Then QUEUE.
I think Disney does the queue thing well above and better than any other entertainment company.

We will be there opening weekend, I am totally FPing that ish. However, when we come back, I may wait in line.

I think that we will Rope Drop Pandora, and do the Queue first thing... and then FP for a 2nd ride.

Since we will be staying offsite, I'm not holding my breath for FP!! Our plan is to hit rope drop and try to ride both before the lines get crazy. We'll be there mid June, so I'm trying not to get my heart set on it. It took several trips before we could even get a FP for the Seven Dwarves Mine Train, and I don't want to wait in a 60-minute line.
