Will you be making a reservation on Wednesday?

I'll be booking our May, 2013 vacation package tomorrow. Like Missytara, I book only what I know we can afford and start making payments on the vacation. If a promotion comes out that I can take advantage of (which has been the case for the last four trips), then I call back and modify the vacation.

Please forgive me if this is a stupid question.. Is this mean I can also book through the official Disney website or do I need to make a call? I actually just want to see what are the room rates before I start booking for my next year's trip. I'd like to play around with the dates a little bit online before I commit myself on a certain date. I know I want to go in May, but not so sure what week. Thank you in advance. :)

You will be able to do it on the site.

If you go onto the website now and try to book, it tells you the date that can get on the site and book.

I'm going to price it out tomorrow, but probably won't book until we return from WDW on July 29 :)

Are you calling first thing in the morning or whenever you have a free moment? Will you end up just waiting until things calm down and wait a few days are do you want to be one of the firsts?

I am heading to my TA in the morning! I have saved 800.00 so far so I am so excited to book! It looks like the final decision is a split stay with 4 days at AKL and then 3 days at Dolphin for free with our points! We have been the last 3 years in Feb and have had free dining, so I hope it continues:)

Do you all book your rooms first or your flights? I want to book our Disney trip this week but can't afford to book the flights right now... just the $200 deposit.

I book package first because a lot of airlines don't come out with their rates until 6 months before (like Southwest and AirTrans) and you typically are going to find the more discounted rates around 4 months before anyway.

As for me I am trying to decide if I really want to waste my time by calling when I can just go online when I get to work. Problem is I have a room only reservation and can't cancel online, so I might as well just call and get it all done at once. I know a lot of people are looking to book ASAP because their ADR window is coming soon, mine is in about 27 days but I since I am OCD I want to get things set and done now. It doesn't quite feel as real when you're not booked.

I'm planning to make a deposit tomorrow! I'm going to get quotes from my Disney Planner and have her do all the hard work. Hopefully I'll be booked before the end of the day. :cool1: I really wanted to stay at AKL but I have convinced myself that Contemporary will be just as fun!

Booking our April/May 2013 vacation tomorrow! Going with my family, my sister's family and my parents. So will be reserving 3 rooms!! As for when I will call - hoping for some time while the kids are at camp in the morning!

I'm just hoping to find out what the price for our January trip will cost and so it can help us plan accordingly. We're patiently waiting until the Free Dining is announced to book. At this point, we're waiting more on finding out when and where extra magical hours are going on during our stay...we want to at least start booking ADRs based on that info. So for now, no booking of our package...just EMH anticipation and ADR pre-lim planning. :goodvibes

Wednesday (tomorrow) is the day that guests can book rack rate packages for 2013.

Thursday is the day that the general public can get free dining for Oct-Dec 2012 stays.

We're going to price out our June trip tomorrow, but I think we'll wait until October / November to book...it's going to kill me not to book though ! :rotfl:

We will be booking tomorrow for an April 13-18, 2013 stay at the Poly. Our dates are locked in by the three day cruise on the Dream and our annual pass expiration of April 21st so why not book now! We booked the cruise back in May to get the best choice of cabins. It will be our son’s first cruise, so we are starting off with a short one to see how he does…:)

We will play the Disney Visa, Annual Pass or PIN discount game again and hope for a great deal.

We leave for an off-site trip on Thursday! Wishes at the California Grill on my birthday with my family, I can’t think of a better way to spend my 44th.

Ditto. Prices, then EMH schedule, then some ADRs, then hoping for FD!! 1/7-1/18 works so well for us...I really hope we can swing it!

I wish we could book free dining from new Zealand  we are going to wdw 18 dec to 23 and then returning again jan 5 to 14, after our cruise.

I am for our first 2013 trip..hoping for a good bounceback for our 2nd 2013 trip

I'm hoping for the same. We're taking a Disney cruise before our stay at a resort, so our TA will be making the reservation for us. I'm hoping to book a bounce back around F&W, but usually the dates don't go that late for us.

Booking tomorrow too - so excited!!! Hopefully the website doesn't get too bogged down! We just finally this morning solidified our plans after months of discussion (helps to have a deadline, lol!), as long as the prices don't increase more than I'm expecting that is.

YC April 20-28, DxDP!!! We are hoping to fly Frontier, at least on the way there, so we can have a direct flight. But they haven't started selling tickets that far out yet. So we'll go ahead and book the package now, and hope we can afford the airfare when it does come out :)

After tomorrow will come the stalking for park hours to be released, then ADR time... then hoping we get lucky and a discount comes out!
