Will You Be At WDW For Valentines Day??

Yes, my son is a senior and has his winter break the week of February 14th this year. Last year, the break was the week of Presidents' Day. I'm happy we can go this year the week prior to Presidents' Week. Maybe the crowds will be a LITTLE better.

Yes, it was hard to lose the money, but I think we made the right decision. We will have fun at WDW!

I think WDW will be full of Michiganders Valentine's week. It seems that all of the schools around us have that week off for Mid-Winter break. In other years, different school districts had different weeks off. I know I can't wait to get out of this freezing weather!

We are driving from Jacksonville to Orlando on Valentines Day, hoping to be settled in and at a Disney park by 1:00 or so. Is MK a "can't miss" on Valentines Day or are there just a few decorations as someone previously mentioned? DD is 4 and DS is 1. Trying to map out the parks and had Tue 2/15 slated for MK due to CRT ressies.

We were there (coincidentally) on Valentine's Day 2002 and don't recall seeing any decorations, but that does not mean they did not have them. We spent time in MK and MGM that day. Maybe they have them now?

We dined at the CG that year while mom took the kids to dinner and the arcade. I don't recall a special menu, but the food was yummy!

This year we will return from WDW on the 13th - boo hoo!

My DH will be taking the Segway Tour and I'll be at the Grand Floridian Spa. We have PS for California Grill at 8pm and are looking forward to a great meal and a great trip to WDW!!

We're taking the Segway Tour on Valentine's Day too. I just made the reservation yesterday for the three of us. It will be a surprise for our son. I think it's going to be fun. We have reservations at 9:30 a.m.

Maybe it's a midwest thing....we're from Indiana and we'll be there too! I am taking my favorite princess dd6 and my favorite prince ds2 and hubby to Cinderella's Royal Table for Breakfast! I was so thrilled to get it on this day! I bought my daughter a sweet princess jumper w/ hearts, glitter & the princesses on it! I bought it off of Ebay...where else! Have fun!

We're having breakfast at the Kona Cafe. Then off to MK for a few hours (with cheerleaders, as I found out on the boards yesterday).

We have a couples massage booked in the evening followed by dinner at Artist Point.

My idea of a perfect Valentine's Day!

I too was trying to think of something special to do for the day. I couldnt think of anything other than a dinner reservation for us and the kids. I had thought everything would be booked up already, but called last week and there was still availability. I called about the Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Faire at the Grand Floridian.

I also thought about having something delivered to the room for my kids. I liked the idea, but am sure it would be quite expensive. So instead I have bought a few gifts ahead of time and will bring them with us. I am thinking of asking one of the CM's at the resort to deliver my gifts to our room. If I cant do that, I may just hide the gifts around the room and surprise the kids that way.
