Will you allow someone to personalize your blanks?

FedExBrownEyes has kindly offered to personalize blanks. What are your thoughts on this? I would have no problem, as long as he credited that he is doing my DISigns? I know some of you don't personalize any longer. Are you comforatble with someone else doing this? Do you want them to contact you first? Let me know what you think so I can list on the DISigner thread.

I rather personalize my own. Any exceptions (very few) are noted in my rules.

I have my blanks available for people wanting to personalize thier own, for their personal use, no selling. I do prefer to do them myself if help is needed. If I'm on vacation or something then I don't mind as long as the person doesn't claim them as their own. I do find it refreshing that when people share their pics they give credit to the DISigners.

I also would rather personalize myself. I use a lot of fonts that are NOT free - so matching them up is probably not an option anyway.

Also, when I'm going to be away - I always post that requesters should ask another designer for designs. Considering what happened to Natalie and a few others (people selling the designs as their own) - I'd rather not give out blanks at all. Sorry!

Not a problem. This is ONLY for people who do post their blanks. If you are not comfortable posting blanks, that is certainly understandable.

I really don't care either way. I was thinking about posting some blanks in the future. Just if someone does customize any of my work, please give credit where credit is due!

I have posted most of my DISigns as blanks because I could not keep up with requests. I have been burned a few times but I would rather share with everyone than worry about the few that abuse this forum. I have found that most of the people on the Creative DISign forum are very loyal and trustworthy. Many have told me if someone is selling my DISigns on ebay or will correct another poster if they have credited the wrong DISigner.
I absolutely don't mind having someone else personalize my blanks as long as I am given credit for the original DISign. Some of my DISigns have taken a lot of time and effort (the new Donald Duck design took months to complete!) and I really appreciate just being given credit for my work.

Ditto as most of the designers have mentioned as long as credit is given for the original design, I don't mind if one of my blank designs is personalized by another designer.

I absolutely understand that some of you don't want anyone else messing with your disigns. You all have worked very hard on them and I wouldn't want someone taking credit for something that I had put so much time into either. I am NOT a DISigner, I'm just not "that" creative. I have huge amounts of respect for those of you who can (and do) create wonderful things for all of us less fortunates to use. I have seen the pages and pages of requests on here for your work and just thought I'd offer to help by personalizing them for others to take some of the work load off of you guys. That way maybe you'd have time to do bigger and better things (new DISigns?? ). I would never try to take credit for your disigns and if I see someone give me credit, I will correct them. They would have to link me to a disign (from one of you) so I could pull it and add the names. There shouldn't be anyway that they could confuse me as the DISigner. But if they do, I will remind them that I only slapped a name and date on it and give credit where it is properly due. I've rattled longer than I had planned, forgive me. I just really want you all to know that I am in no way trying to take credit for any of your disigns. I appreciate all that the entire group of DISigners do and can't wait for more new DISigns!!
