Will Yavn ever join the DIS?

Well, actually, he didn't completely quit posting there. He is the one who posted the preview pic of Frontierland.

I wish he would join here, but I don't think he will. From what I understand (I may be wrong), he's been invited to join more than once and has yet to do it. I don't know his reasonings, but if you ever see the posts of the kids on the fansite after he posts, you might think that maybe he's scared off from the numbers of Dis members.
He posted one preview pic and the kids went crazy. They start asking lots of off-topic questions like "how do I become a tester" or "how can I work for Disney". Others post on the same thread telling him to clean out his pm inbox cause they want to send him something. So obviously they're also bugging him that way too. So he may actually be scared off by the number of members here, even tho we all know that not all Disers play or even care about VMK or Yavn. But I may be totally wrong too.

How do we know he isn't here? He may have a different user name so that he can share information without being pestered. Or, he and the rest of the Staff may read the boards but not actually post.

Most of you know that I am a moderator at the fansite but I still am level headed enough to be rational.

A couple of things:
1) VMKf doesn't spoil anything more that this site does. In fact, we (VMKf) tried to put the spoilers in a specific group that you have to join in order to see them. of the 8000+ members of the fan site only about 25% are in the spoilers group. So please do not classify the fansite as a negative when this site does the same thing.

2) Although Yavn might not be specifically a member of this site (not sure, of course), I do know for a fact that the VMK team reads this board (along with the others) on a regular basis

So just read both sites! That is what I do.
He may have picked the vmkfansite to talk to because they attempt to adhere to the vmk values...no discussing of personal information. The Disboards do not do that...you can see pictures of people, their locations, ages.

He may have picked that site because it was more established as a vmk info site before the disboards had a vmk section.

There are many vmk sites out there, he can't join them all.
