Looks like, due to MANY circumstances, we are going to get married in September instead of June. I have only been in May and Dec., so I have no idea what to expect but I keep reading that it is a scorcher. I am worried that the pictures will look like we are melting:-) We are doing the WP, which I know has AC but, can anyone give me the scoop on this time of year.

Thank you

We were there in September of 05. We weren't that hot. It was quite comfortable for us. I cant ever remember sweat just beading off of us.

As for WDW in September-- in my opinion, thats the best month to go. You have no crowds... the kids are in school, you walk onto every ride and are able to see nearly every show. Many times in September they offer free dining, etc.

I wouldnt fret about this-- my origional wedding date was September 19th of last year... then we moved it to November...

I dont think you will be disappointed. But be prepared to wear shorts and light t-shirts :) It will still feel like summer.

We usually go to WDW in September. Crowds are great, you walk right on everything! I'm from MA, so for me it seems hot, but not unbearable. You should be fine, but definitely think shorts and tees!

I'm a September bride as well, and we're doing it outside. I'm hoping it will be comfortable!! (and no hurricanes...)

My suggestion would be to have the very first ceremony of the morning if possible. It can be very brutal. I live in South Florida and I still think it is scorching. I have been the past 5 Septembers for 2 weeks at a time each trip. 2 out of those 5 I have been through hurricanes at Disney. Those are the drawbacks but the benefits of September normally out weigh the bad - we wouldn't keep going back during that time if not. Good luck.

From my experience, September is MUCH better weather than June! June is hot, humid, and it rains most days for at least a little while around 5pm. In September it can be warm (mainly 80's the last 2 years when we went in September) but it's not unbearable. Also, we did get free dining this past year, so taht's a bonus if they offer it again!

Like others have said - you can't beat the crowd levels for such nice weather. I think you'll be really glad to be there in September!

I just checked the annual average temps for Orlando in September and the average high is 93 and the average low is about 75. This can vary wildly though... that's the hard part. We got lucky this year though and didn't have a bad hurricane season. Definitely less rain in September then in June.

Just think you'll get to use those cute mickey fans:cloud9:

September 13th it is!!! At 10 am. I am not really a morning person but it sounds like that is the best time regarding the heat. Thanks so much for all the info!!! You guys always come through!!!! Have a great night!
